Perfect Fit
Engine air filter replacement part was a perfect fit and a much more reasonable priced than many others that I considered.

Do it yourself, perfect replacement for 2013 Chevy Equinox four cylinder engine
I recently got an oil change on my girlfriends 2013 Chevy Equinox four cylinder and they do a routine check on various things they can also replace. They showed me the air filter and wanted to charge almost $40 to put in a new one. Naturally I said no thanks and went straight to Amazon to order this perfect replacement for a fraction of the cost. It took less than five minutes to replace and is a perfect fit. Just remove the four screws around the air filter box, carefully lift the top, pop out the old filter and slide in this new one. Be extra careful with the screw closest to the front of the car on the passenger side as I accidentally dropped it and it was a pain to get it out since it didn't fall all the way to the ground.

Second time buying this filter. 6 year old filter vs new one. (26,000 miles later)
Not sure what to say. It's a filter. It fits my 2012 2.4L Chevy Equinox. I replaced the factory one back in 2018 at 30,000 miles. I replaced it again in 2024 at 56,000 miles. Even at my low mileage driving, the manufacturer says change it every 5 years. I pushed it to 6 years because what do they know. I bought the first one for $12 and the second one for $9. It's one those easy cheap things anyone can do. You need a T-25 head for the screws on a 2012 model. Takes 5 minutes or less to change.

Very slight difference in fit but overall a good value replacement.
Shows the foam part as black in the pic but mine was the OEM (ACDelco) or Fram color of orange, obviously this doesn't detract from the product at all, just pointing out the difference. Filter looks as good as the OEM or slightly better even. Only negative I would say is that this air filter fits pretty loose compared to the OEM filter that it replaced. Considering that this filter is nearly half the price of any other filter brand I could find, I can easily overlook the slight difference in the fit, especially since it seems to be a pretty good quality aftermarket replacement.

Easy to replace!
Replacing this air filter in my 2017 Equinox involved undoing one clip and 4 screws. Easy peasy! Take thay Mr. Mechanic who looked at me like a moron when I said I would take care of it! Filter fits perfectly and saved me money!! Thank you!
