Shuttle Art 174 Professional Colouring Pencils, Coloured Pencils Set

Value for money 10/10. This is an amazing price for such a complete colouring experience, all its missing is a rubber. After using your pencil of choice it leaves a wrather shiny finish on the paper. For the smoothness of the pencil I would say it is a bit rough but this could depend on the paper you use. Wonderful range of colours, for such a good price you get an huge amount of shades, and even metallic ones too! When using them in the colouring book given with the set, it gives a much smoother sensation. Compared to Faber Castle Polychrome pencils these are of equal quality and an excellent product to buy instead of spending over £100 on some colouring pencils. In this kit you get: colouring book, sketch pad (100 GSM), 4 sharpeners, 2 pencil extenders and your 174 pencils in a metal tin. The colours lay down really nicely on the sketch pad and colouring book given. The shape of the pencils mean that your hands won't hurt as much whilst using them as they are a rounded shape instead of hexagonal, like a regular pencil. The tin provides amazing protection for the pencils and there is no need to switch over to a fabric pencil case, as the trays inside are easy to remove with slots to hold them. Overall I would say this product is amazing and it is hard to believe that pencils of such cheap price can be such good quality, but they are. I 100% recommend this product if you are looking for some colouring pencils. :)

I absolutely love this set which I chose for myself. I think it would make a great present for some one who enjoys drawing and colouring at any level of expertise. The pencils themselves have a lovely texture to them. They feel good to use. They are soft as opposed to being hard, scratchy pencils. They sharpen easily and go on to the paper smoothly. With 174 pencils there are many different shades and also some metallic finish ones. Supplied with pencil sharpeners, extenders, sketch pad and a colouring pad this set represents excellent value for money. I would highly recommend.

For a set of budget pencils these are really good. If you want Prismacolor but can't afford them, get these. They are a super-soft pencil with a very thick core, highly blendable and work well with blender stumps and solvent. They are not watercolour pencils and actually unlike some other budget brands they hold very well against water with virtually no solubility so they'll work well if you're using with mixed media. They sharpen well, the wood is smooth and no broken cores, but they don't hold a point well and are not suitable for fine detail work (combine this set with a set of finer, firmer pencils if you want to do that). I've also found that they are really poor on black or dark paper. I have a set of Arteza too and honestly, I think these are better.

Am amazed at the quality of these colouring pencils so vibrant and smooth they cover the paper without hardly any effort. So decided to order a 2nd set just incase. Got 2nd set yesterday and they are the same quality an amazing array of colours. For what you get with the coloured pencils sketch pad,colouring book,4 pencil sharpeners and 2 pencil extenders for 2 different size pencils. Fantastic value and well worth every penny spent !!

This is a great set of pencils and comes complete with a drawing pad, pencil sharpeners and pencil extenders. After I had used them a couple of times I needed to sharpen the Black pencil. I took one of the sharpeners and began to sharpen but the lead kept breaking and after five attempts I gave up. Needless to say I've had to buy a black pencil from an arts shop as you can't get spares from this manufacturer (somewhere in China!).So although they are great value beware when it's time to sharpen!

I bought these as a birthday present for my son's girlfriend. I've not known her for long as a teen (but I did when she was @ infants- primary. We moved ND I lost touch. But kids today are lucky as no matter were they are they can stay in touch.. &they did 😁) I knew she LOVED drawing etc. I knew she didn't have much chance to be an artist now she'd left school. So I bought this kit coz it has everything in it to do her drawing/colouring. I knew it was a good make. I knew I would of loved it. I hoped I'd hit the mark. She didn't say a word for a few minutes... She couldn't coz her smile was so big. She got it all out ND exclaimed happiness Everytime she found a different item ie; the extenders. Itade me so happy to see she was really happy md excited. When she got home she was drawing for hours. She said the pencils are lovely to hold ND use. She "thanked "me. 😊😊. So inspire a young artist, or enthrall an older experienced artist... You won't go wrong. You may even get a "thank you" that's genuine. 👍

Great for the price and a fantastic colour selection but quite waxy and scratchy. I was disappointed with this purchase and regret not going for another brand. They do blend quite well but feel they give a more crayon look than pencil. If you want a lot of pencils for your money then go for these but other than that, definitely better pencils out there.

These pencils were given to me as a Christmas present. The colours are superb and colour really smoothly ....BUT the quality of the lead is disgusting as is the wood. 0 out of 10!!Whenever I sharpen the pencils, no matter how long or short, or how slowly and gently I do it, the lead in the pencils just keeps on breaking over and over and over again. This has now happened to the point that quite a few of the pencils are now only a quarter of the length they used to be ... and I only started using them for the first time on Monday 13th January ... just one week of use and I now have a number of pencils that are only a quarter of their original sizes and they STILL don't have a lead tip!!! These were NOT cheap pencils and are certainly not good value for money. To say I'm disappointed is a gross misunderstanding. Rather spend your money elsewhere.

These pencils are lovely. Great consistency and the colour selection is great. The trays are a little flimsy, but do the job. Love the colour sample sheet included.

Arrivato velocemente come sempre. La confezione in cartoncino contiene la scatola di latta con i colori, un altra scatolina che contiene i due prolungamenti per i colori, un blocco per schizzi di 50 fogli granatura pesante che può essere usato anche per acquerelli, un libro da colorare e i 4 temperamatite. I pastelli sono abbastanza morbidi e sovrapponibili ma li ho solo provati. L'assortimento colori mi è sembrato decisamente ampio. A mio parere possono essere utilizzati con buoni risultati anche a livello semiprofessionale. Il costo è stato davvero contenuto perché erano scontati per il prime day. Consigliati anche a prezzo pieno.

Sehr praktisch und übersichtlich verpackt. Die Farbauswahl ist toll und die Stifte liegen gut in der Hand. Somit ist der Spaß für Anfänger und Profis gleichermaßen gut geeignet. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen.
