When I purchase any component for my Linux-run computer, I always wonder whether it is going to work. This USB sound adapter worked straight out of the box. The sound quality is surprisingly good, even through headphones. Unless you are involved in music production, this is sufficient for most people's audio needs.

life saver here..works asap...no downloads..nothing...not only was regular headphone jack wearing out? a jack broke off inside AN stilll in there.....not a problem with this device...plugged it in an presto !!,,bought a 2nd unit..
