Eaton Tripp Lite TLP808B Black Flat Plug Surge Protector 8 Outlets

I own several Tripp Lite surge protectors. You can trust the name and product. I have rack mountable ones for audio gear. These plug ins are the same great quality! Tripp Lite is a name you can trust and I have never had any problems with any one of their products. Have 2 larger plug ins, 2 rack mounted ones and this little guy for the home desk. If it cost a little more, it cost less knowing the peace of mind you have if a cheaper one failed and you replace a computer, tv, stereo or media gear. Worth every penny and more knowing it’s doing its job well! I rely on them!

I've purchased Tripp-Lite Surge Protectors from Amazon in the past and have always found them to be reliable and well-designed, with outlets well-spaced to accommodate normal 3-prong plugs as well as bulky plug-in transformers. I'm using this Protector for five devices on a desk, including an LED desk lamp, pencil sharpener, rechargeable wireless telephone, laptop charger, and USB hub for the laptop (three with plug-in transformers and two with plugs). The heavy-duty power cable on the Protector was long enough to reach the nearest outlet to the desk.

Tripp has always been a great company for computer supplies, for charging and connecting consoles. We have used them for years, and they are very reliable. The current console we’ve had is over 20 years old, and still going strong! So when I needed a power strip I can depend on, Tripp was my first choice. This model is a little more than a regular power strip, but still priced competitively, even with models that are less well known. So why take a chance of a generic power strip, when you can have the best. I highly recommend this product.

Tried and True with a solid build, I bought 2 of these to power all the things in my garage, through obviously not excessive voltage or Amperage only 120 VAC but they work fantastic!!!

It should do what it's supposed to. I chose this brand because the surge protector has to. Where I live PGE power is temperamental. In the last outage I lost my main expensive smart battery charger. Lucky I was able to eventually repair it as I can't offord to replace a $800 charger (I paid less than 1/4 that). It was a small diode and in another circuit and electric capasitor. I suspect that because I had the charger plugged directly in to the wall is how it was damaged. And if I had this surge protector, then it would not had happened. Most everything I own is plugged in to a surge protector. And this battery charger is the first divice killed since I began using surge protector instead of power strips. Save the hassle of replacing your electronics. Not all surge protectors are the same. Buy only name brand types. If it said noise protection too. This is likely a good protector. Buy and use surge protectors. Good luck...

I happy with it. All outlets work. Tripp lite has never given me any issues in the past. Everything is as described, 8 ports, 8 foot cable, and has a right angle plug. I'm using this in my living for my home theater. I like how the lights are not bright, unlike some of the newer ones that can light up an entire room by themselves. It is about $10 move then the others on Amazon, but if you are plugging something important into it, I would suggest spending the extra money and getting reputable one like Tripp Lite, APC, Eaton etc.

Mechanically perfect. Unused receptacles could be protected before dust. No problem with any kind of plug, even very large ones. Looks nice. Recommended. Five stars.
