Great product, some assembly required!
I was genuinely impressed by the build quality and design of the smart curtain rail. I bought the 3.2m version with the 90 degree bend additional parts so I could install in my bay (see photos). I was worried that adding the extra dimension would complicate the installation so much that it would be beyond my meagre DIY ability and lead to calamity, but I managed surprisingly well. And if I can do it, anyone can! The good - very high quality build, parts fitted and were well designed. As mentioned in other reviews, the written instructions are useless but the videos are excellent - follow them carefully and you can’t go wrong. Some tips - merging the instructions for assembling the 90 degree bend and the standard took a little intuition, but wasn’t too challenging. One piece of constructive criticism - despite the inclusion of a number of smaller track sections to help construct tracks of any size, there was no way to make a track that would fit my space. I suspect that’s quite common. And while they sell additional track, it’s just one of the 1m sections which is no use - I needed more smaller sections. I’d recommend more shorter pieces in the pack in place of one of the 1m sections. Luckily the solution wasn’t too onerous - out came the trusty Dremel and I cut a long piece down to size. It was pretty ragged (have I mentioned I’m crap at DIY?) but didn’t matter in the end, the pulley thing still makes it through that section. One thing to bear in mind - you’re assembling the track face up but you’ll install face down, so the motor will be on the opposite side. Think carefully about which side you want to plug it in and make sure you put the motor on the opposite side as you’re looking at it. I was concerned about the trailing ugly wire and bulky motor. As you can see from the photos, the motor is tucked away in the side of the bay where it won’t be too visible and will hopefully be largely hidden by the curtains. And I installed some trunking to hide the wire. While the wire is fairly long, I did need an extension cable to reach my nearest socket. And a big tip - when installing the drive belt, make sure the two pieces are rolled out into the slots at the top and bottom of the track, not the middle space. I did that by mistake and had to partly disassemble my track to put it right. My biggest worry was in sticking the whole thing to the ceiling, given my chronic lack of skill with such things. One straight track wouldn’t be too bad, but with the curves I was dubious the whole think would snap into the brackets quite as easily as in the video! It did prove the hardest part, and caused some degree of swearing and bickering between myself and my wife. I’d carefully cut the track to a length that fit snuggly into the bay which helped - I could install the brackets pretty much along the very edge of the ceiling so didn’t need to measure distance from the edge. The brackets themselves are flexible as once screwed in place they can slide and rotate somewhat, which is good in case you haven’t quite got them in the right place. Drilling and screwing upwards is a pain, and this caused my biggest problem: because my screws didn’t go in at exactly 90 degrees to the ceiling, when fully screwed in the brackets weren’t completely flush with the ceiling which stopped the track snapping in. I solved it by unscrewing the screws a couple of threads so provide some give. Hopefully that won’t make it fall off the ceiling! The final snap in place was very much a two-persons-shouting-at-each-other job, given the bendy nature of my track and took some effort and several tries. I’d recommend testing each bracket and pair of brackets by snapping in and removing unused track as you go along to make sure they are aligned properly. And putting two or three screws in the bracket nearest the motor, which is very heavy. The final track feels sturdy and secure - haven’t actually got curtains for it yet though, so time will tell! I’ve set it up with my Google home automation system and all is well, the pairing was straightforward. In conclusion - a good system for a good price, straightforward to install. The videos and advertising could perhaps be more forthcoming about the size of the motor and the trailing wire. And it would be better if there were more smaller pieces of track in the pack.

Well designed and made
I am impressed by the design and build quality of this curtain track. I fitted it inside my 2.7m wide lounge French door opening, so used the ceiling brackets screwed to the top of the opening. I had no trouble installing it into the Tuya app and then linking the Tuya app to Alexa, so I can now say to Alexa "open curtains" and "close curtains", as well as using the remote. The Tuya app also gives allows you to arrange for the curtains to open automatically at sunrise, but Alexa is better - it lets you specify how many minutes before or after sunrise. Fitting it inside the opening, I obviously needed the track to be exactly the right length: it is possible to cut any of the supplied track pieces to the length you need, but fortunately I found that connecting three of the sections gave me exactly the right length! There are a couple of pieces of advice I can offer: 1. There are no printed instructions and there is a large number of steps involved and a lot of bits and pieces, so don't think of starting before you watch the YouTube videos (at least twice!) 2. It is important that the track is mounted so that it is straight, so make sure the mounting brackets are fitted in a straight line (not as easy as you might think when you are drilling holes into plasterboard or brick using a masonry drill bit!). I screwed the two end brackets up first, then stretched a surveyor's line (just a stretchy string) between them, before marking the positions of the intermediate bracket holes at appropriate places behind the stretched string. Nice bit of kit.

Smart curtain.
Great product, the step-by-step setup and installation videos are very useful. I just put the curtains up, and they work like a charm! For plasterboard ceilings, I recommend getting special fixings instead of the provided ones. The software setup was pretty easy. For the price, I wish the wave ripple had been included in the kit too. Otherwise, it's an extra £30 for the upgrade.

It's OK. Reasonable price, but watch out for the extras you may well need.
Well, I got there in the end. My previous Swish Glide electric curtain rail, after opening and closing daily for 30 years precisely, finally gave up the ghost. The control unit had packed up and replacements were no longer available. The current equivalent of the Swish Glide was over £500 which I thought was laughable. So, I started looking at the Quoya models; firstly, the QL500, then the newer QL600, which I subsequently bought. My first disappointment, when ordering the QL600 was to discover that it dd not include wall fixing brackets. It does in the QL500 but not in the QL600. I therefore had to order a box of five angle brackets for the princely sum of £20. If you do the same, please be aware that the description on Amazon for the brackets, is wrong. It states that the brackets come with nuts and bolts “and screws”. It does not. On receiving my box of brackets, I returned it as the screws were missing. I ordered a second box. It, too, had no screws, so I returned it and ordered my third box. It, too, had no screws. By now I realised that it simply didn’t come with screws, despite what it said on its Amazon page. So, there was an extra charge for me of £4 at B&Q for the “missing” screws. I should point out that screws were provided in the curtain rail box, but these were a bit long for what I needed. I see from earlier comments that the written instructions for this product are extremely bad. Well, I didn’t get any written instructions at all. Perhaps the distributor has pulled them on the grounds that nobody can follow them. Instead, there was a card with a QR code which took you to a series of videos on YouTube. I have to say that the videos covered every aspect of putting the product together and putting it in place. They were narrated by a native British person, too. They were, however, not perfect and I had to run some of them more than once, but I managed to work out what was needed. Be aware that it may take you 3 hours or so to put this rail together. It did with me and I consider myself reasonably competent at this sort of job. It wasn’t particularly difficult to do, it was simply tedious, especially having to count 23 of the small teeth on the belt, not once but twice, in order to cut the right length at each end. The next thing you need to know is that where it says in the video, when screwing the joining plates into position, not to tighten them too much, it actually means that you have to apply the lightest touch imaginable. As the rail is made of a soft aluminium, just a fraction of a turn of the screw beyond the lightest touch will cause it to bite into the aluminium and create a “pimple” on the underside. So, beware! Having put the rail together, it took me another two hours to take down the old rail, fit the brackets on the new one and then put it into place with the help of a second person to hold one end as I fastened it. When finished, it seemed that there was a “catch” of the moving mechanism running over one particular join. Because of the sizing of the rail and the positioning of the different sizes to get the right length, there was not much I could do about swapping the pieces over to attempt to solve this problem. Clearly, it was unacceptable as the motor was struggling to get both the guide and subsequent hooks over this join. There was only one thing for it - to take it down and partially dismantle the piece that was causing a problem. It was not easy to see why there was an issue as the pieces looked straight. I tweaked it about a bit with some long-nosed pliers and then re-assembled it. One other point, at this stage, I noticed on first hanging the curtains that Quoya only give you 12 hooks per curtain. My old one had 20 hooks per curtain and thus ran much smoother. Yes, you’ve guessed it! I had to buy some more hooks at another £20. So far, I was now out of pocket by £159 + £20 + £4 + £20, or £203 in total, for a product that is advertised at £159! On reinstalling the rail, after tweaking with the pliers and re-assembling, it seems OK. I got the app working, too, including the setting of the operation to occur at sunrise and sunset. If you haven’t done that yet, it is tucked away in a very obscure part of the Tuya app under “Weather”, but it works! Overall, I’m reasonably pleased with the product, especially as the Swish version is over £500. I have to say, though, the Swish model looked nicer and was easier to assemble, but I guess that’s why it is £500+. The wall brackets do look a little industrial on the Quoya but I can live with that. I probably would buy it again but not for a while.

Great quality . Smooth and quietly even
These are great quality and work really smoothly and quietly even with heavy curtains . I am very pleased with them . Assembly is a little tricky but not too difficult, you just need to carefully follow the instructions on the web.

Straightforward to install and use - highly recommended.
A fairly straightforward installation - the videos really helped with how to cut and measure, which was great. We found that watching them first was the best way to tackle doing the installation ourselves, and it made it much clearer and easier to see what to do. Once installed and the curtains were hung it was simple to control the curtains either with the remote or with our Alexa. We are very pleased with the curtains, and they add a layer of security for us as we can have the curtains automatically close if we are away. As we live in a bungalow, it is reassuring that the house looks occupied while we are elsewhere. Highly recommended.

Fantastic electric rail and customer support
Fantastic product! Excellent demonstration videos and fabulous customer support. The track was simple to put together, with plenty of mixed sized track sections to help you get the right width. With the right fixings these went up on my ceiling easily. And they work absolutely beautifully via the app, the control panel supplied or via Alexa. I will definitely be purchasing more of these for other rooms!! Great seller!!

Quoya QL 600 smartes elektrisches Vorhangsystem – absolute Kaufempfehlung

I would like to give the product a 5, but
the product cannot be as tight in the rail as one would wish, that means that there is an unpleasent noise when the slides passes over this area. I am sure this can be be minimized taking the rail up and down making minor adjustments, but it is hard for 2 persons taking a 6,7m rail down and up for this, and recieve new results. The product except from this and another minor problem is AWSOME, and I really LOVE IT!!! The other minor problem is that I can with voice (Google Home) turn it on and of, but open and close curtain just opens it, open should open and close should cloke as turns on closes and turn off opens etc. All together a big thank you for this AWSOME product!!!!!

Also alles gut.
