I have waited to write this review until now. As I read other reviews on this product as well as other brands the reviews were mixed. I was hesitant to make this purchase but I was desperate. You see, after living in our newly constructed home for 7 to 8 moths we suddenly had an influx of scorpions. Now if you have ever had a run in with one of these you know they are like the spawn of satin! I sprayed and tried all of the other tricks I found on the Internet. Nothing worked. I decided to take the risk and purchased 3 of these. I placed one in the garage and two in the house. We had 2 to 4 scorpions per day for over a week prior to installing these. After the first day of use we found one scorpion in the garage. But after that one, there has not been anymore. There has been a reduction in crickets as well, which scorpions feed on. We still have some small spiders, ants and a few other pests show up from time to time but their presence has been reduced as well. The main reason I purchased these was for the scorpions and these absolutely worked on them. It was money well spent. No one electronic pest control can stop all pests. Consumer Reports says each brand works on its own frequency or by other means. So you need to find one that works for what your problem pest it. If your problem is scorpions then you want to get this one. Again, I purchased 3, putting two in the house and 1 in the garage. They were worth every penny as our scorpion problem is gone.

Device doesn't kill the pests but it does help chase them away. I used a device like this before and it really helps. Do your part and keep your area clean. You will see the difference. This family business did great shipping item quickly! Delivery followed instructions! I'm happy.

I saw these Pest Repellers in use at a Resort Condominium. I was impressed ... there were no bugs around! The Pest Repeller Ultimate AT 5-in-1 is quite a techno gadget. It uses ultrasonic technology, electromagnetic waves and ionic technology to drive out ants, cockroaches, and other insects. Hey, I love gadgets, and one that scares away bugs sounds great. So, I ordered two Pest Repeller units for home use. So far, I am not seeing any sugar ants around my kitchen ... but it's too early to say if the Pest Repeller is working. The Pest repeller does look like it's doing something ... with its blue sensor night light and busy flashing LED lights ... it is quite impressive. Now, I hope the bugs are impressed by the Pest Repeller's performance and stay outdoors! :)) SEE MY PHOTOS IN CUSTOMER IMAGES I will update this review as to the effectiveness of the Pest Repeller Ultimate AT 5-in-1. Does not work on tiny black "oderous house ants". It looks cool, and it may be working on other pests (can't tell as I had not had any other pest issues) but it's been 2 weeks since I installed it in my newly acquired (older) house and I still get the ants crawling across my desk and kitchen sink. I am meticulously clean so its just a matter of the device not repelling their curiosity. Too bad. I really like cool tech and from other reviews this appeared to be the answer to my problems. If you also have tiny black ant invasions, don't buy this device; it doesn't work. UPDATE 06-13-18: I've revised my rating from 2 stars. The ants, being so small, must have taken longer to all come out of the walls. Its been over a week now and I have not seen one ant, or any other pest for that matter. If this keeps up I will update this review again in a couple of weeks. UPDATE 07-04-18: I've revised my rating from 4 to 3 stars. The ants invaded my office today, after 3 weeks of not seeing any. But, I had the single unit plugged into the center area of my 70' long house, so it was ~35' from it to where they were showing up in my office, and there were walls in between. I moved it to my office and immediately started seeing the ants immobilized and dying. I am rating this "okay" because the initial specs online are misleading about range and penetration issues. The manual, after you buy it, says: "The ultrasonic sound emitted ... can travel up to 5,000 sq ft in an open area (such as a warehouse), however the sound will not penetrate solid barriers." In other words (which should have been stated up front) one pretty much needs a unit in every room where there is an infestation. The manual also says: "For optimum coverage, plug a unit in each room without anything blocking or covering the device." FYI for those reading this. UPDATE 07-20-18: I've revised my rating from 3 to 1 star. The ants are back. I have 2 units now: one plugged in 8 feet away from my desk, and one plugged in 2 feet away from my kitchen sink, right above it. And yet, I still find them crawling across my desk (right in front of me) and around my kitchen sink. It's like they just decided to get over it and have become accustomed to the annoyance, and are shrugging it off. Either it's this brand, or it's this tech that appears to be totally useless against tiny black ants.

I used thiis brand many years ago to eradicate a roach infestation. It worked like a charm so I got it again for ants and seeing an occasional water bug. After four weeks the ant parade diminished greatly but I'm still seeing them and it's been almost two months. Yesterday I saw a water bug. Did GoodLife change the recipe !!!!??? Such a disappointment and these are some of the priciest on the market.

I live in Arizona and have been battling scorpions in my house for at least 5 years. At one point I had 8 LIVE ones in my bedroom and bathroom in two days. I changed pest control companies and that helped, but I'd still find a handful of (mostly) dead or dying scorpions in my house every week during the warmer months. In desperation I finally (should have done this years ago) went around the outside of the house and sealed every crack I could find, including a foundation crack on the outside corner of my bathroom. I still found one scorpion in the bathroom the day after I sealed the crack. Around the same time as I was using tubes of caulking to seal cracks, I came across this pest repeller on Amazon. Reviews were mixed on how well they worked against scorpions, but at this point I was willing to try anything. I purchased one from Amazon and then found that the company was offering "buy two, get one free" so ordered three more direct from the company. It's been almost a month since the "caulk wars" and installing these devices, and I haven't seen a scorpion in the house since!! I'm not sure if the caulk or the devices did the trick, and I don't care. Something is finally working! It's a little early to declare victory since fall is approaching and temps are dropping, but every scorpion-free day is a win in my book! My pest control guy is worried that I'll "fire" him, but I'm not taking any chances! The triple threat of spraying, caulking, and these gadgets will help me sleep better at night!

I never (and I mean never) write product reviews. But the Pest Repeller Ultimate AT 5-in-1 works so well I almost felt obligated. I had a mouse problem that was growing worse with each passing week. I bought 3 of the no-kill "mouse-house" traps which worked great in the sense that each morning I would come out to find them occupied. But having to take my unwanted guests out to a local park to free them each day was not a sustainable solution. It became clear that I didn't just have 1 little family of mice but that they were multiplying faster than I could get rid of them. Occasionally I would see one dart across the kitchen floor and the final straw came when I began to find droppings on my stove and counter-tops. It also became impossible to leave anything out (e.g. a bowl of fruit, a loaf of bread) on the counter without finding signs that they'd been there. In desperation I bought the Ultimate AT 5-in-1 and half-assumed I was flushing 50 bucks down the drain but I had to try something. I plugged this thing in and almost immediately the mice were gone. I mean absolutely GONE! No more sightings, no droppings, and last week I even did a test by leaving a cracker out on the counter and it was not touched. With so many useless products out on the market I thought people would like to know that there is something that actually works. If you have mice and do not want to kill them (which by the way is not only cruel but also not solving your problem) then this is absolutely money well-spent.

After several months of using peanut butter filled traps, poison bags and poison bars, I was desperate to find something that would get rid of the mice that loved to start chewing and making a racket in my bedroom ceiling/wall/bathroom in the middle of the night every single night. I was catching/finding mice with those methods, but still had the aggravation of being woken up at least once every night or very early morning by chewing/scratching sounds. Skeptical, but desperate for sleep and not wanting to do anything drastic (like burn my house down to kill the little sleep robbing demons)I tried this at the end of May. I wanted to wait a few months to give a review just to make sure it was accurate. Well, I am happy to report, that aside from once or twice since then, I have not heard a single mouse in my attic and my traps are never sprung. When I did hear a mouse, it was in the wall, which as the instructions say and as it makes sense, the unit cannot penetrate walls. I had to run an extension cord into my attic to plug the unit in, but have since had an outlet installed to keep the unit up there full time. I am also going to purchase a couple more for my garage, to keep bugs out (hope it works as well on bugs as it did the mice)and one for inside the house.
