I purchase a lot of products from Amazon, and every once in a while I have something that needs to be returned, which means I’m constantly looking for good packing tape to seal boxes back up. After trying different options, this Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Tape has honestly been one of the best I’ve found, especially for the price. The tape is strong, sticks really well, and gives me confidence that my boxes are going to stay securely closed during shipping. I also really like that each roll comes with its own dispenser because it makes packing up returns quick and easy without having to hunt around for scissors. For six rolls, I think this is a really good value for the money. If you ship packages regularly, move frequently, or return online purchases and just want tape that actually works without spending too much, this is a great option. I would definitely purchase it again.

You will not go wrong using Scotch heavy duty shipping pkg. This brand of tape keeps my pkgs stay sealed safely while traveling to a buyer. The comfort that the doesn’t flip back on the roll is everything to me. Ever had tape after you tear a piece and the tape falls back on the roll and then you gotta find it and get it back on the teeth/cutting part?Scotch is built to not do that. That makes it top quality in my book. It’s sticky, slight tape smell, so safe to tear even my 9yo can use it without getting hurt by the teeth part. It’s also versatile. I got this 6 pack for around $12.00 total. That’s $2.00 a roll bs $4-$6 at the store for one roll. Lind time user of tape and scotch is hands down the best for use and price!

Definitely heavy-duty and thick as advertised, and the price was right. I've tried a number of different packing tapes, but most were too flimsy and either tore, or, when the tape fell back against the roll, it was impossible to free it so that I could use it again. The Scotch heavy duty tape was easy to work with, and a number of years ago they redesigned the dispenser, and the tape is much less likely to fall back on the roll. I'm 100% satisfied and won't use anything else.

When you need to seal up a box, this is your go to tape! I've been using it for years and wouldn't consider anything else. Although the dispenser is a little tricky to figure out, it's worth the effort. I have shipped many different types of packages all over and have never had a problem with the tape. The value is good for the money, and your item will arrive intact. Just cover all the seams, especially in rainy season, and you're good to go! Highly recommend!

Very highly recommended over ANY of the cheaper generic packaging tapes out there. You may tell yourself that tape is tape or that you aren't going to spend THAT much on tape. But it is so worth it when everything works this nice and holds together until it arrives in one piece.

Good product but I'm taking away a star because what do you mean there's no refill for this? I can't stand throwing out these dispensers. I'd rather re-use them.

I used up all of my dad’s tape and sent him this so he had enough to ship me some boxes for my move. He couldn’t believe how many were in the box and told me he has tape for life now! It’s the same kind you’d get last minute at the post office, strong and does exactly what you need it to. For a wayyyy better price.

This is a really useful tape that is much easier to manipulate, for me, anyway, than standard packing tape. Standard tape is really thin, always seems to get stuck in a tape gun or end up sticking to itself. At least when I use standard tape. This tape is much thicker, easier to apply, hardly any klutzy moments with the tape getting tangled or sticking to itself. It is more expensive, though, so if you have tons of boxes to seal, you might want to stick with the standard tape. But for me, less frustration makes up for the expense.

So strong and sticky with an excellent holder that makes it so easy to use.

We purchased this pack to assist in the removal packaging. Where other parcel tapes fail, this excels.

Relatives used all our packing tapes recently and we had to restock, which happened to be Prime Day. Hands-down the best out there as we have used various brands (of similar price) from the hardware store. Although this is heavy duty, it does not leave any sticky residue unlike many other brands - something consistent across all 3M products I’ve used over the past 2 decades (even when unused for over 10 years). Another great feature is that the tape cuts cleanly with the dispenser.
