I have family members who need to use straws for medical reasons, so having a reliable option is important to us. While I know disposable straws aren't the most environmentally friendly choice, these biodegradable straws are a great alternative. What I like most is that they hold up well during use and don't become soggy or fall apart like many paper straws do. They're durable, practical, and much more pleasant to drink from. I'm hopeful they are truly biodegradable because I'd love to keep purchasing them.

Love these straws for cold and especially hot drinks. They do not get flimsy or mushy.

The quality of the straws are amazing. I travel to Disney often throughout the year, and I hate the paper straws. I understand that they’re better for the environment, but hate the taste that they leave in my mouth and just how quickly they get soggy. These are great option to bring for my family! They don’t get soggy in your drink and being individually wrapped in paper is such a plus. They do not leave an “after taste” in your mouth or have a different texture than just a regular plastic straw. I highly recommend!!

I bought these for a cruise that I knew wouldn't provide straws so having them individually wrapped was an incentive. I felt for the price and quantity these were a good idea. The cardboard box came a little crushed from shipping, but the straws weren't affected. The paper lining was easy to remove, while stayed on while being transported in my purse/beach bag. I even reused a straw a few times cause they didn't wilt like a paper straw. Leaving the straw in a drink overnight made no affect on the structural integrity. I got absolutely no taste from them so the beverage wasn't affected whether it was water, smoothie, carbonated soda, or iced coffee. I didn't try it with hot drinks though. They are a light brown color, but that didn't bother me. Nowadays I always keep some in my purse with me to use at restaurants or friend's places and I like that it makes it easier to know which drink is mine. I haven't tried composting them so I don't know how well they actually break down, but I hope that these are truly a better alternative to plastic straws for the environment.
