Hello! I think the issue here is you have the leveling feet screwed too far down. The leveling feet are most likely lifting the base far enough off the floor that the levers aren’t doing anything. If this does not help please call us at 866-588-0395.

There's not much clearance under the wheels. Maybe your floor is uneven?

How much height does this add?

The height added by the mobile base is a function of the thickness of the plywood that is used. For 3/4 inch plywood, the total height of the base is about 1 3/8 inches. If you wanted to increase height without using thicker plywood, a shim could be added between the plywood platform and the lower metal corners.
