Camco TST RV Toilet Treatment Drop-INs - Made in the USA

My travel trailer home has a marine toilet. I am so glad that I bought these. I use approximately one per week. They keep the Arizona summer heat from making my bathroom smell like an outhouse! I think they have a light, fresh scent too.

This is my favorite scent (named "Fresh Scent") of several black tank treatment pods I've tried from Walex & Camco so far... it's pleasant and not too strong! I use this in a water flush porta-potty/ toilet. Some of the scents of other brands are WAY TOO STRONG for a porta-potty (Walex "Alpine Fresh" is the worst!)... but Camco does not overscent it's products... they seem just right. And, just for perspective... I'm not a person that is sensitive to scents normally!

Okay, so we're wrapping-up our first year or RV ownership, and these are the first black-tank treatment we tried. Not always super-effective, but there may have been other variables which impacted their effectiveness: How much debris is left in black-tank, how much water is added to the empty tank when adding these, how much waste is in the tank, how hot it is, etc. In 90-degree weather, and an RV sitting unused, we haven't found a perfect solution to keep all odors at bay. I have started coupling these with the Campco liquid black-tank treatment to increase effectiveness. If you use these, follow the instructions and add whatever amount of water to the black tank along with them. It's also best to add prior to leaving campsite, so that the road motion and help agitate the water in the tank and help dissolve the membrane, so these don't sit in a coagulated mess on the bottom of the tank. It's trial-and-error. These aren't the best, they aren't the worst. But my bet is they are only one of 2-3 strategies you will need to use--especially during the hot, summer months--to keep your black tank from being smelly. **Be sure you keep the resealable bag sealed tightly! Humidity will be your enemy if you don't.**

They do keep the smell down but they have a weird scent. I font like the smell but it stops the tank from smelling horrible. Keep water in the black tank at all times unless your flushing it out completely then add water back to it and drop one of these down in it.

We have tried a lot of different holding tank tablets this one was the best by far there was never any odours from this one. I highly recommend it.
