My favorite gel! 100% ! I love all of Rizos Curls products but the light hold gel will always have my heart. It gives the curls a hold on the definition with out leaving behind any residue. It does make a crunchy gel cast but it is easily broken with just a bit of hair oil and fluffing out the hair! I love a lot of volumne and this gel makes my curls look defined and big without the frizz or crunchiness.

I have thinner hair, and it’s curly but with loose ringlets. It’s hard to find something that’s defining without being heavy, but this worked great. With only using a little bit, it doesn’t need to be crunched but my curls don’t stay defined as long. I use a generous amount on wet hair and once my hair is mostly dry, I crunch it a little bit and my curls stay defined, even with moving around all day for work. It also leaves my hair softer than any gel I’ve tried. It seems a little oily and sticky at first, but after drying/crunching there’s zero residue and it doesn’t feel tacky. Best gel I’ve used

I like the product. It leaves my hair feeling soft, smells good, does not make my hair greasy, shine is fine/not noticeably better or worse, works well for frizz. My hair isn’t super curly so a little wind or a few minutes in a pineapple does loosen my curls a lot. I do not like stronger hold gels but it might be needed for active days.

It makes your hair sticky and doesn’t curl mine until I take it down from a ponytail, but is otherwise a good idea for a product. Smells delicious.

I have mostly-gray hair that has become increasingly unruly over the last couple of years. I have 3A curls, but they are prone to frizzing out in response to humidity (wind...sunspot activity...mercury in retrograde...whatever) until I look like a dandelion. I find that using this gel, after the curl cream by the same brand, on my very wet hair gives me 24-48 hours (depending on the weather) of reasonable, non-crunchy ringlets. WIN! I don't love the smell, but it's not obtrusive. My hair is fine and tends to be thin, and it just touches my shoulders when wet. Less than a dime-sized amount of this gel works great and doesn't weigh my hair down. This is my second purchase, and I'll continue to buy it as long as it works.

It does dry out your hair .. it feels like you used some paste on your hair.. it doesn’t do the job. It leaves your hair super dry and looks brittle. The smell is not bad but it doesn’t last.

Great small bottle for travel

I like that it leaves my hair soft and touchable. What I don’t like is that it leaves a fine powder on my brush. If you take a comb and run it through the brush to get hair out of the brush you will see a fine powder come off the brush. I don’t like that that is why only 3 stars.
