This is our second tube. My 5 yr old loves it bc it’s easy for her to apply, and i love it bc you don’t need to coat your entire body. A few swipes and the smell is strong enough to keep the bugs at bay, bonus if you can get the swipes on areas like the inside of your wrist. In addition to easy application. It works! My daughter is a magnet for bugs, she steps out the door & somehow already has two bite. It’s shocking. Whenever we put this one she doesn’t get bit. Bonus, it’s small enough to carry in a purse for sport seasons. I will be keeping this in stock forever!

this worked for pre-bug and post-bug bites. I thought it was for post-bug bites not pre-application before you go out. so this is a win win. very easy to just put in a small pocket and go. As I said I thought it was for post-bug bites, so I used it on my mosquito bites that were itching and driving me crazy, they did help with the itch which helped me sleep and ignore the bite.

This is kind of greasy feeling while applying, but it really works! I can hike or garden without being chewed up by the mosquitoes, black flies, and other blood-suckers that make outdoor life miserable. The stick makes it easy to apply to the back of the neck, behind the ears, and not have to wash it off the palms of your hands. The small size of the container lets me toss one into my backpack, and another into my handbag, so I'm protected from the mini-buzzards even when I didn't expect to be outdoors. I just need to make sure that I don't run out!

Coming from a person who was mailed by no serums in key west to the point I needed to go to the hospital and was mortified to ever visit the keys again, this stuff worked!!!! In addition to using this I also avoided booking a place that had sand in the backyard, brought a long sleeve and long pants with AT ALL TIMES, but I actually didn’t need to use them - this stuff worked!!! No seums actually stay away!!! I was had a terrible run in with them in the keys and Bahamas - I then used precaution and this stuff and visited the British Virgin Islands and Marathon (in the keys) and didn’t encounter the same issue!!! I was really hoping this would work but I’ve never been bitten and stung so badly my entire life. I have about 10-12 of these bites across my entire body. I am editing my review due to the wonderful customer service.

My husband is one of the people mosquitos love, which makes him super convenient to have along when outdoors, because they focus on him and leave me alone. Unfortunately, he also gets a really strong itching and swelling reaction, which makes him inconveniently whiny once back indoors. Badger Balm is the only bug repellant we’ve found to be worth using - none of the rest of them seem to help him at all; in fact, he swears they attract mosquitos. (He likes Badger after-bite balm also.) My son had an outdoor job this past summer and found it very useful for that as well, even for long hours in hot weather. It does have to be reapplied when sweating, but not all that often, and it feels pretty good on the skin. It also smells a lot better than most bug sprays, and the stick version is easy to carry and easy to apply. I wish I could still get the larger size stick, but at least the small one fits in a pocket better.
