Very good table saw sled
This is ideal for a single side, variable angle TS sled. It is very comparable to Rockler's, but the Powertec has T-slots on the front and top of the fence, with room to add a measuring tape if desired. Assembly is easy and registering the 0 degree angle is too, with an easily read, micro-adjustable vernier. The instructions tell you to apply 3 non-stick strips underneath, but 4 came with it so I added it next to the blade cut edge. The hold-down and fence stop are Powertec's standard ones, and they work well. The angle markings are inlaid, so not likely to get marred. This is only for the left side of the blade, best used with a right-tilt blade with up to about 6" between the left miter slot and the blade. One complaint has been the soft plastic miter bar fine tuning inserts, which are a little flimsy but should work. I didn't even need them because the bar precisely fit my 3/4"x3/8" miter slot on my old Powermatic Artisan contractor saw. I had to very slightly file out the edges of the slot underneath the sled to fit the miter bar. No big deal. Another common complaint is the material of the sled base. 1/2" MDF, even melamine surfaced, is a little fragile compared to quality birch plywood. But it glides very smoothly, and if it matters you can add melamine edging. It will get nicked in use anyway, so this doesn't bother me. I see the 1/2" thickness as an asset since it is thinner than the more common 3/4" sleds, but still plenty stiff and lighter. One can easily add a equivalent panel for the right of the blade to hold the cut-off level. Finally, damaged items are sometimes noted. Mine arrived on time, very well boxed without any sign of damage. And I bought a "Like New" sample, for barely over $100. Altogether, I am extremely pleased, and hope more purchasers have the same experience. It will do anything any other sled can do (apart from one in which the blade is centered) and is a great value. I've found Powertec products generally to be of high quality and reasonably priced.

Impressive!
Half the price as the Rockler version and every bit as well made. I love mine. I highly suggest this product.

Easy to use and accurate.
This is easy to set up and works great. Sometimes I feel like I want a support side sled as well but that’s personal choice based on experience. This does exactly what it is supposed to though. Easy to set original angle and cuts niters accurately on a table saw.

No brainer. Get this!
There are probably dozens of videos out there on how to build this exact sled or a reasonable facsimile thereof, but this is the easy button. Simple assembly and setup. Practically impossible to mess up. If you're skilled, and can source the materials, and have the free time, build it yourself. Hell, build dozens and undercut this. The price is high for the material component costs, but here you're paying for the convenience and the pre-set cuts, channels, holes and rail. For most of us, this is certainly worth the price.

Awesome.
This is great to use as a crosscut sled. You can get very accurate cuts, but only in one direction. I have had to do some tricks when I need my angle to go the other way.

Nice Sled
Really nice sled and works well. Able to cut perfect miters. My only complaint is the tape for the angle scale was not glued properly and fell off. Easy fix, but should have been glued better from the manufacturer.

Item arrived both damaged and with parts poorly glued
Item arrived boxed inside a much larger box but with no padding so on arrival two sides of the sled were damaged. Then on opening, the stick on marker showing the angle of cut literally fell off the sled. It can be glued back on and the side with the damage can be trimmed but for the price and cost of delivery of this item very unsatisfied.

nice but time will tell
it came neatly packaged but the directions are a little vague but neverthe less it went together and works great. The only quextion is whether it will stand up over time.. The main part of the tool is rather thin to me, but it ,ay be stranger than it looks or feels. It has some expensive pieces and whether its value for money would be debatable

Not the quality I expected
The packageing was very poor All four corners of the base were damaged. The fence however is the only quality thing about it. I’m sure I have the skills to rebuild the rest. Shouldn’t have to at that price.
