These struts are really strong. Used on our Jayco after replacing the mattress with a memory foam one. Had to modify the brackets to work but no issues with it

Work great, but be careful, don't overtighten.
Strong struts, however make sure not to ovvertighten the nuts. Seriously, just snug them. The studs have poor tensile strength, snapped 2 without even trying.

Absolute JUNK!!
Absolute junk! The brackets are mild steel and bent immediately. Do not waste your time or money.

hardware is too weak
I originally purchased the 50lb struts but miss calculated and they were not strong enough. I ordered the 100lb struts and soon discovered the hardware is not strong enough. it bent on both the top and bottom connectors. I ended up building my own hardware out of 1/4 thick angle iron. the struts are great but the hardware needs to be redesigned.

Used for DIY camper
Take the time to get the right weight for what you need, I went way over and for a 3.25' x 4.75' door I built on my teardrop camper and finally found this one as the right weight. Great product though and has made using the door a joy.

Once installed - works well. Instructions have to be applied according to what you want to use them for. I am satisfied but, it was a challenge installing

Perfect replacment for the Bed in my RV
Worked as hoped. I did need to use the ends (Threaded on mounts) from the original shocks on my RV bed that I was replacing. They threaded on the new shocks perfectly.
