Great gapper
I feel like a lot of people don't know how gappers are supposed to work so let me make it clear: This is SUPPOSED to be made of a very soft metal that chips and dings readily. Think about it- which do you want chipping first, this disc or the electrode on your spark plug? This gapper has a big blank square in the middle, so it's pretty certain this is the blank all the other brands stamp and resell for multiple times the price. This is the real deal. It's not as accurate as digital calipers, but it's not supposed to be. This is meant for crude applications, such as checking to see if your car's spark plugs are roughly in alignment- if all of a sudden your spark plugs have gone off, you may have bigger problems than gapping. If you need a gapper for more precision purpose such as in a high-performance racing engine, you should be using digital calipers or another piece of highly accurate equipment to begin with.

Poor quality. Not accurate
I purchased spark plugs along with this gapper. When my plugs arrived I measured the gap and it was off by 0.020 so I gapped it with this tool. After gapping all plugs and installing on my car I noticed that acceleration was not as good as before and my MPG dropped by 2. I bought new plugs and new gapper at my local parts store and measured the gap, gapper from Amazon was extremely flawed after measuring with both. Do yourself a favor and go to a local auto parts store to purchase a gapper there. It's not worth the gamble to purchase here from an unknown source, very bad quality

sorry I bought it
I misplaced my favorite gapper. I'm sure it will turn up, but I ordered this one because I needed to gap some plugs now. This gapper has wires for 40, 50, 60, and 80 thousandths. Those are mighty big jumps, especially from 60 to 80. It has two more wires: .044 and .045". It's absurd to have them so close in size. Was this gapper designed to be useful? My car needs gaps between .040 and .044, so I might have been in luck. There were still two problems. As I widened the gap, there was no wire smaller than .040 to show me when I was getting close. Besides, the wire loops are of haphazard sizes. The one for .040 extends only about 3mm from the coin.I measured the gap by other means. One reason I chose this gapper was that it has four slots for bending a ground electrode. In fact, 3 are 1.96mm wide and the fourth is only slightly wider at 2.01mm. My electrode is 1.6mm thick. All the slots are too wide to grip and bend it above the 90-degree turn. Maybe it could be bent at the base, but I think concentrating the bend there could cause damage. This gapper is useless to me.Long ago, I read that it's better to use a wire gauge than a ramp, in case the ground electrode is a bit concave. Maybe that advice is obsolete. Having a ramp gauge would be like having a large assortment of wire sizes. I'll get one with a hole-type bender. I saw a demonstration on youtube, and it looks ideal for spreading a gap.(Closing a gap is easy. In effect, I quadruple the mass of a plug by sticking it into a socket with an extension. If I tap the electrode with a similarly heavy wrench, I have a sort of irresistible force meeting a sort of immovable object, and the electrode has to give. It's easy to tap it hard enough to bend it a little but not too much.)

Not accurate and not made in the USA
So like many other reviewers, I have noticed a lack of accuracy with the tool received. It is off in some cases by up to .005 inches and for a spark plug that is a lot. Without being to technical, an improperly gap spark plug can cause issues from bad gas mileage to coil pack damage. The worst case scenario would be a ignition coil driver failure in the PCM. This failure would cost you easily 600 dollars and that's on the cheap end. Conclusion:I would not recommend this product unless you have a caliper to check the true values at a given position. I have one and that's the only reason it's getting 2 stars. I can understand all the 1 star reviews though.

Great for 3d printer leveling.
I have no idea if the other reviews are accurate about the measurments being off but for my use case all I need is consistency. I got tired of using the piece of paper bed leveling technique, since paper compresses and isnt all that consistent. Using the 0.05mm gauge produced near perfect bed adhesion instantly with no fiddling. Just twiddle til the gauge just slides freely. -1 star for the tool oil, which you need to make sure to remove, because if that gets on your bed its gonna be real bad. I would prefer something that didnt need the oil for rust prevention, as other reviews mentions the gagues rust if you remove the oil completely.

It is poor quality the case is distorted and the numbers are ...
If you think you are getting a quality Lisle product you are not and it is not the same item pictured with the name Lisle and made in USA stamped on it. This item is nothing more than a generic Chinese product with no brand stamped on it placed in a Lisle package. It is poor quality the case is distorted and the numbers are blurred. If this is OK with you just buy the cheapest no-name Chinese feeler gauge set because it will be made in the same factory as this one. I sent this back.

Great for the Amateur
Agreeing with others who have commented, I'm just a guy looking to replace a spark plug on my own lawn mower/snowblower. This was the cheapest, yet most relevant gadget I could find online, and that's why I bought it. I personally have no qualifications to remark at how accurate the gauge is. All I can say is that I used it to set the gap according to the Honda small engine manual I was referencing, and it fired right up. Seems like a pretty affordable solution to have hiding in a bench drawer somewhere for the 1-2x I might need it every other year.

The tool to get the job done
I used to have a friend that had one of these so when I finally had to buy one I didn't know much about them, which ones were good, which weren't. This one claims to be made in the USA, which is a nice touch. It's pretty small (it's smaller than an old American Dollar coin). It doesn't feel incredibly durable, but it did get the job done for me. I don't expect to use it a ton as I'm not a mechanic or someone even very mechanically inclined. One side is in inches and the other is in millimeters.

LISLE gauge
Be aware it is not a Lisle stamped tool as shown , the packaging is lisle , but it is stamped with Made in china instead . Also guess this is my fault for not checking , But the feeler gauge wires are not the popular plug gap sizes ie 0.4 , 0.6 , 0.7 , 0.8 , but it has a range of 1.02 to 1.52 , pretty poor . Its cheap enough not to worry , but i purchased because it is meant to be lisle made in the USA .

Very poor quality
Very poor quality with an odd stained surface finish and marred on first use. Appears not to be sufficiently surfaced hardened. Made in China despite Lisle claiming to be American made.
