Dentek Canker Sore Relief Patches for Canker Sore Pain Relief, 6 Count

Unfortunately, I am extremely prone to canker cores, in every part of my mouth (along the gumline, tongue, on the inside of cheeks and lips). I get them at a minimum, monthly as they appear in sync with my hormonal cycle. I also get them with any sort of mouth trauma, such as getting hit in the face/mouth with something, biting my cheek/tongue, eating sharp foods, etc. Sometimes they are mild, sometimes quite severe. A canker sore on the inside of my cheek is what motivated me to try these. It appeared right where my bite is resulting in a severe sore with significant irritation and pain to the point that I have been struggling to sleep. I have used every canker sore product under the sun. Other patches I have used I've found to be bulky and irritating due to the medication. I am so relieved to have found this product. It provides the perfect barrier which results in instant pain relief. I was able to use my HSA to pay for these, so while they do feel a bit pricy, it's not so bad, especially considering the effectiveness of them. The product itself is very slim, like a transparent sticker, which is basically what it is. The texture is smooth, so it does feel like having a sticker in my mouth, however, it does adhere very well and stays in place. I used the directions on the box along with recommendations of other reviewers in that I rinsed with a peroxyl mouthwash prior to use and then patted the area dry before placing. You just stick it right on the affected area and press for 4 seconds. Easy peasy. There was no pain with placement other than the physical touch of pressing to adhere. It is non-medicated but the box says it does have vitamin E to promote healing. I'm not sure how well these would work on the tongue or in spots where the patch can't lie flat, as I haven't attempted to use them on one like that, yet but... It is such a simple but effective product. I find its relief to be far superior to oral numbing gels since those just temporarily numb the area, and don't prevent further rubbing or irritation. Highly recommend trying this product, especially if you have a sore in a place that is particular susceptible to regular irritants.

I have Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) & the DenTek Instant Oral Relief Kit is a lifesaver!!!! TN is nerve damage that can be caused by a dental procedure. It is EXTREMELY painful during a flare up & I will hunt for anything that can possibly dull the pain when my medicine isn't doing the trick. This kit helps so much. This kit has tools where the Benzocaine can be applied to a specific spot making it perfect for a tooth ache or isolated area of pain. I was having phantom pain at the socket where the wisdom tooth had been removed several years ago. I was able to get to that specific area with no problem using this kit. The liquid Benzocaine lasts longer for pain relief than Oragel or any of the other medications on the market. I would HIGHLY recommend this kit for tooth ache pain or for the nerve pain of Trigeminal Neuralgia. So glad I found this kit!!

I ordered both items (the liquid numbing bottle and the round stickers) so I will review both, use was for canker sores after biting my cheek (ouch!). The liquid product is fine for canker sore pain, but numbing lasts less than oragel. The applicator seems useless, I don’t know why anyone would use it considering they can just use the little sticks directly. The little sticks are great, I will concede that. It’s much better than using your finger which is what I do with oragel. Also makes it better for on the go for that reason. It stings just for a second upon application and numbs almost immediately. The effect of the numbing doesn’t last very long, I would say 20ish minutes, less if you are eating or drinking. It provides a lot of relief just wish the numbing lasted longer. Now the stickers, I really appreciate. They also don’t stay stuck too long but I’ve put them on before eating and as long as I’m careful on what side I’m chewing, it makes it less uncomfortable. It provides numbing comfort and keeps things from rubbing against the sores.

Here’s another one that saved the date for my canker sore had in my mouth. The very hard to put in have to use like a tweezer to put an exact spot and you barely know we have it on and it lasts for four hours versus the other one the last for 12 hours, but this one you don’t feel it in your mouth as much either but it heals it. It’s a good product.

Where has this been? I suffer from canker sores almost monthly and this kit brings me so much joy. It's easier to use vs a q-tip. I can get right on the sore with no issues now thanks to this wonderful kit.

DenTek Canker Relief Patches definitely help reduce the pain and irritation from canker sores, especially when eating or drinking. Once they’re in place, they create a nice protective barrier and make the sore feel less exposed and sensitive. The main downside is that the patches don’t stay on very long. They tend to come off pretty quickly, especially if you’re talking, drinking, or moving your mouth a lot, so it can take a few tries to keep them in place. The relief is helpful, but I wish the adhesion lasted longer for the price.

This works amazingly, better than orajel. I was in agony. My 🦷 are in bad shape, I’ve been to dentist but I can’t afford the extractions right now. If you know tooth pain then you know it’s one of the worst pains on this earth and I’m a woman with PCOS. It will literally drive you insane. Took antibiotics and dangerous levels of tylenol and ibuprofen and the pain was not subsiding. This product is wonderful. The little tip that goes on the tooth is super soft , and the tool that the tip clips into is very helpful. Very easy. I feel like it’s much more hygienic too, as you aren’t reusing a tip or brush to apply. I feel like myself again.

I got this for my teen son's wisdom teeth which have been hurting him pretty bad of late. They are due to be taken out soon. He said it has been working pretty well and is highly effective for a good, decent amount of time. This can be a God send when the pain seems never ending. He puts some on his teeth and it immediately goes to work to ease the pain. It doesn't cause any skin irritation, and adheres pretty well to his gums. It doesn't slip off easy, and stays on for a good amount of time. The texture is OK in his words and hasn't seemed to bother him. It is very portable product and can almost anywhere. It can be slipped in his backpack, my purse, the glove compartment , or even his pocket. Just about anywhere as it is small in size and pretty much inconspicuous. I keep one in a few places for him. Like his bedroom. The bathroom. His backpack, and the car. He is 18 and graduation high school soon. This product has helped him concentrate more on his final classes and to work on his graduation. I hate to see my son in pain and glad I found this. A temporary solution while working on getting an appointing for wisdom teeth removal. It is a great value for the money. A decent price and it works better than even cheaper priced ones or fancy named brand ones.. fThis is a very good priced valued product and worth buying. I ended up coming back buying more for emergencies. A life saver for me to assist my son in taking some of his pain away. And teeth pain can be one of the worst pain ever. Great product that comes fast and packaged well

The product is nice , but it’s pricey , but it comes with only 6 pieces , and it is quite small, overall not worth it .

Bought these after trying mouthwash with the same ingredient at a much lower dosage. The mouthwash was helping with the pain but this more direct application of the chemical that numbs the area with a 20% concentration makes all the difference. My mouth felt like it does if I go to a dentist and have them apply something to my gums before a procedure. Obviously this needs to be used in moderation and all instructions followed but for someone with toothache where other things are not helping, getting a bit of relief even if only for 15 to 30 minutes is like heaven.

I purchased DenTek to have on hand. I came across it quite by accident while doing a search on Amazon. My son has been using it and says it's great. I intend to purchase more and keep it on hand.
