PRO-MSTDP3DP Works Great
I just received the PRO-MSTDP3DP, works perfect for my setup (3x23" displays running 1920x1080@60Hz). I think it's very unfortunate there is only one review for this device, it's negative, and provides no details. You need to confirm your GPU (graphics chipset) on your PC supports DisplayPort 1.2. Here is the hardware that worked out of the box with Win10 and Ubuntu 19.10: * Displays (3): Dell U2312HM 23" (uses DP 1.1a but the hub don't care, $80 each at MicroCenter) * Laptop 1: Lenovo T460S with Ultra Dock (40A20090US), GPU is Intel HD Graphics 520 * Laptop 2: HP ProBook 650 G4 with HP Ultraslim Docking Station (D9Y32AA#ABA), GPU is Intel HD Graphics 620 For some reason, these Intel integrated GPUs (Skyline) just work perfectly on Windows and Linux. Side note: I tried with a PCIe card in my Linux desktop and it failed, only provides mirrored screens and cannot extend. That GPU was much older: AMD Radeon HD 8490. Based it's HW specs, it should work fine: DP 1.2, HBR2, MST. I blame that on the radeon driver which seems to have broken MST. When I try to pass the kernel parameter radeon.mst=1 and get a black screen. This has nothing to do with this MST Hub. Just telling the story in case anyone here has similar experience, I doubt it has anything to do with the hub. Extra comments: * It gets its power from micro-USB which is OK. Kind of wish is was a more rugged connector * The case is made of extruded aluminum so it quite tough. * I had to add a 3 foot DP extender (male to female) because the source side is very short * The price is great at $66. These are usually 2-3 times more at other places.

No sirve
Simplemente no funciona, se quedan los monitores en negro sin recibir señal.

I can use 3 monitors now!
I needed this so that I could hook up 3 monitors using DisplayPort cables. I hooked everything up, added power from one of the monitor’s USB ports, fired up the computer and went right to my Display settings. Very easy to set up. Price seems a little high for what it does, but if it lasts long term then I would say price is spot on... If you’re trying to extend your PC’s desktop using 3 monitors, this is definitely the way to go. If I ever run into any issues, I will come back and update my review.

worked great for two years but started to fail recently
when I first got this in 2021 it worked flawlessly and expanded my monitor count by three and let me run all at 1080p which is exactly what I want, but recently it has stopped outputting video after a reboot and requires multiple USB plug pulls to get working again. if not for this I would have given it five stars.

Only works with 2 displays not 3
It only worked on 2 additional displays and not 3. The instructions clearly say it will only mirror 2 displays without additional adapter and programs to download. And says with MAC will only mirror 1 display.... its more trouble than it's worth. Very misleading. Will be returning this product.
