Great Lens for Stills, fine for video
Fantastic lens! I did find that for my needs, I just didn't need it so I returned it:( I mostly do run and gun video so not that useful, but I loved it for "fun" photography.

Sharpness throughout
I like this lens very much. I have a Leica SL2 with a Leica lens, but additional Leica lenses are terrifically expensive. I'm sure a techno-nut could find flaws in this lens, but it works well for my purposes. I've tested with landscapes and find that the images are sharp even toward the end of its range. I've not yet tested it on moving subjects. It's not a good low-light lens but I knew that up front. Completely satisfied.

Fantastic, but not for pixel shift
If you want to do wildlife or something alo g those lines this is perfect. For pixel shift in an s5 for some reason mine had a lot of difficulty. It may have been a defect in that particular lens though.

A very clean crisp lens.
I get amazing shots with this, I’ve always been a fan of the from far zoomed in portraits and this thing is crisp, clear, and with O.I.S any hand shakes are easy to compensate for.

Met expectations
Nicely fits with my other Panasonic lenses. It's sharp with snappy autofocus. It is big and heavy, with a maximum aperture of f4.5, but most non-professional will be happy with it. It's good value for money

Mixed Feelings....
First of all 300MM isn't enough focal length, keep that in mind. The lens is well built and fully weather sealed, decent autofocus with the S5IIX and almost no focus breathing. And this lens extends while zooming so imho I think Panasonic should have either tripod collar or atleast a place to mount the collar as without it the lens is pretty unbalanced on the tripod. I didn't find the lens to be as sharp and I am bit disappointed.
