Easy and effective
Bought these for my cross county bike ride. So glad I did! Took maybe 30 mins for the initial set up which wasn’t hard. Directions were easy to follow. Once set I can remove or install literally with 2 minutes. I was reluctant to add fenders being concerned about weight bulkiness etc. left them on the entire trip and basically never really noticed the difference. Really helped keep mud and water off me. they flex when leaning your bike up yet return to proper position. No rattles or rubbing. my tires at 32c and they are perfect. Would be nice if they came in 40s or wider for gravel bikes. Love them!

Easy to install and they work fantastic
For the past three years I have been riding my bike rain or shine to go to work. My commute about 25 miles round trip each day. I ride a Specialized Roubaix with 28mm tires. I love the way my bike looks and I did not want to take away from it's beauty by placing fenders on my bike, but then I saw someone riding with these SKS RaceBlade Pro XL fenders and thought they looked pretty good. After hearing that guy talk about how awesome it is to have fenders on I thought I'd give them a try this winter. I did my research and decided to try the SKS RaceBlade Pro fenders.Fitting the fenders was pretty easy. I do have a bike stand so that does help, but it isn't needed. The geometry on my Roubaix put the front fender very close to the body and I actually had to breakout shave off a little of the excess plastic on the fender (the plastic cover for the metal that holds the fender to the front fork) to get the fender to fit properly. This may sound complicated, but it was easy and I only had to take off a little plastic to get the clearance. I have no tire rub at all. The only issue I have is with the front fender, but I think that has to do with the geometry of my bike, but when I try to track stand at a traffic light I can tend to hit the fender with my foot. After riding several weeks with the fenders I have gotten used to them and I no longer have an issue, but it was something I had to deal with.Once fitted the fenders come off and go back on pretty easy. I trimmed off some excess rubber from the fenders once fitted to make them more aero (aero fenders are the best).Front fender issues aside, the back fender has had no trouble or adjustments to my riding style needed. For the love of all that is good and precious in this world please go get a set of these and at least put on the rear fender. Do this for your fellow cyclists, those wheel suckers, those tired friends, and those lowly commuters just trying to get home a little quicker. And if that is not enough of a reason to put on at least the back fender, do it for your backside, do it for your pants, your jersey, and your backpack (if you have one).

Very well designed and made, but..
I was a little annoyed that I received a set that had obviously been sold before and tried out. The fenders weren't attached in the display box as they should have been, they seemed to have a little dust/dirt on them, the adjusting bolt heads had evidence of the installation allen wrench being used and slipping, and the screws that were supposed to be included were not. The rear one was scuffed on the surface as well. However, they were usable and not really damaged enough to return. They took a little longer to get installed and adjusted than I thought it would take. But, it wasn't difficult at all. The instructions weren't too helpful, but it wasn't rocket science anyway. My first ride with them installed yesterday went very well. There was absolutely no evidence that they were even there while riding. No rattles, rubbing on tires, or squeaks, and they remained solidly in place. While riding, since the front fender ends behind the fork, you can't even see them unless you're looking down at your pedals and see the front one. I might have detected a little wind resistance, but it might just have been that it was a cold day and I was feeling stressed from that instead. To try to make re-install easier, I've put small pieces of tape on my forks and seat stay to show the correct position for clamping back on next time. Although, they may stay on for the entire winter.Definitely recommended for those who don't have the threaded attachment points for fenders. And, I think the bike actually looks very nice with them installed. Nice full coverage, but pretty inconspicuous.
