Highly Recommened
Assembly Experience I opened the box and found that everything was packed with solid Styrofoam. All of the pieces were labeled. They even went so far as to place an underscore under the 6 so that it wouldn't be confused with a 9. The screws, nuts (self-locking) and tools are shrink-wrapped to card stock, very nice. All of the other pieces are in plastic bags. All of the pieces appear to be of good quality. The base cross legs are two small legs welded to a single long leg. The welds appear to be well done. All of the metal pieces are good square stock and the base pieces also appear to be good stock. The four casters are plastic but appear to be durable, and two of them lock. The two tops are solid, well-made and not warped. The instructions were easy to follow and assembly went smoothly, except I made one mistake explained below. Usage Experience The table is very stable. It slides easily and the laptop side tilts just as easily. I'm using it now and only have a few minor observations and suggestions for improvement, see below. The laptop table tilts in both directions, so it accommodates right-handed and left-handed users. Assembly Tips 1. When attaching the vertical post to the cross legs, make sure the holes in the post face the short segment of the long leg. Amazon and the instruction sheet picture show this correctly, but the instruction text doesn't mention it in the text. This bit me and I assembled it incorrectly and had to redo it. The important point is that the laptop table must be over the long segment of the base leg. 2. To ensure that the post is assembled squarely to the cross legs, attach the post with the screws but don't tightened them. Slide the cross leg cap over the post and all the way down. Move the post if needed to get the cap to fit snugly. At this point, tighten the post screws. 3. Beg, borrow or tough it out if you want, but get a long-armed M4 metric Allen wrench. It will make attaching the laptop table to its support a lot easier. 4. The flat top is attached to its support with two short pieces of square stock with three holes drilled in them. The center hole is indented, like a countersink. Make sure this indentation is up when the piece is attached to the support. This ensures that the screw doesn't interfere with attaching the flat top. The instruction sheet picture shows this, but again does not mention it in the text. 5. Don't over-tighten the two table tops to their supports because the attachment points are nylon cylinders glued into the tops. 6. Make sure the gap between the two tops is even along their length. Observations and Suggestions 1. When you tilt the table, watch out for any cables sticking out of the side of your laptop. You could do some serious damage if your cables overhang the flat top. It would be nice if the flat table was lower than the laptop table. 2. There is some wobble to the stand. A sliding brace from the post to the end of the laptop table would eliminate this. 3. The table does not go low enough. I'm using it sitting in my wing-back chair and I have to sit bolt upright. Addendum: I took the knobs out that screw into the post to hold the table at one of the preset heights and just let the table slide down and bottom out. Now it's at a good height and I simply relax in my chair and slide the table into position. Works great. 4. If you are right-handed, the table will slide in from the right. If you are left-handed the table will slide in from the left. This is just need-to-know information. 5. The instruction sheet contains good pictures but could use more text to avoid the gotchas. I highly recommend this table. The quality and function per price can't be beat.

Decent Podium, But Not as Heavy-Duty as Advertised
The height adjustability and tilting panel make this desk very versatile. The safety edge-stoppers are a nice touch to keep things from sliding off, and the casters make it easy to move around. Despite being advertised as heavy-duty, it feels lighter and less sturdy than expected. It works fine for light use, but if you need something truly durable, this might not be the best option.

Some construction difficulty, but worth the price.
This is a pretty versatile desk. The tray tilts both ways, so the non-tilting tray can be on both the right or left side. The wheels work a lot better on carpet than some other rolling workstations I've used. It was relatively easy to put together, took about 40 minutes total. The graphite surface is solid and seems high quality. I wasn't thrilled about the fact that I can not rest the desk to the lowest position, which would have been most convenient in terms of my height needs. The locking bolts have to both be set in for the desk to not wobble. It would have made more sense to add one extra screw hole so the desk could be lowered completely flush, and doing so without screwing both bolts in leaves it very unstable. Lifted up to its next highest level, while a little too high for my needs, still seems stable when both bolts are tightened. That said, it seems to be able to be raised high enough to stand at to work, so if that is your intention, it should work well. If you plan to use it while sitting, you'll have to be sitting in a higher place, such as a bed, or a high-sitting chair or couch. Our standard traditional sofa is going to be way too low to be comfortable for any length of time if we have to use the mouse tray at all. Otherwise the tray can be tilted for easier access to whatever is placed on it. The tray itself has ridges on both sides, so to allow whatever is placed on it to not slide off, no matter what angle it is tilted at. The plastic stabilizer was broken, and I will be calling the company to replace it, but I was able to rig it well enough to make it work. Additionally, there is a screw that attaches the tilt adjuster to the frame, and is supposed to hold that piece tight against the lever to prevent it from wobbling when the tilt is set. That plastic screw is horribly difficult to tighten. You'll find that tilt adjuster coming loose until it's tightened correctly though. You can try it by hand with some (rather painful) effort, or you can use a pliers at the risk of breaking it. The design is kind of ridiculous, as the screw almost seems to fit inside the frame piece, rather than truly tightening it from the outside, as you would think would make the most sense. Nobody will probably even understand what I'm trying to describe until you see this thing yourself, but consider yourself forewarned. It was hands-down the most difficult aspect of the assembly. Overall, the best desk I found under $80.

Life Saver
It's brilliant, affordable, and easy to put together. I use this when I work from home. I can use it in my bed, my chair, or from my couch. It's so simple to use. The way it slides under furniture to sit exactly where I need it to is a dream. I also love this because I my sister gets a lot of use out of it as well. There are days where she struggles to get out of bed due to medical issues that impact her mobility. All she can do on those days is sit up. We had a tray that she used, but it was just really ineffective. This made ALL the difference for her. She can eat, use her laptop, read a book, have her medication and a drink nearby, and she doesn't feel trapped when she has those days. It genuinely improved her quality of life. If you're looking for something like this, by all means buy this. You won't be sorry.

Worth is but make sure you check the measurements
The desk itself is nice. Come to a great height when sitting and standing as well. I am 5'6" tall if that helps any. It was easy to put together as well. However, I purchased this so that I could work from my couch, stand if necessary and also be able to use from my bed when I am bed bound due to medical reasons. The wheels make it too tall to fit under my couch and it's not tall enough to fit over my lap when I am in my bed.

TOO HIGH FOR SITTING IN LOUNGE CHAIR. HAD TO PAY TO CUT IT DOWN.

I love this table! It's really comfortable and seems to be very well constructed and good quality. My only criticism is that for sitting in a couch, it doesn't quite go as low as I would ideally like. A couple inches lower for the minimum height would be perfect!!

I took me a hot minute to put it together but the instructions were very easy to follow. All of the tools came in the kit which was such a blessing. The materials are solid and not cheap feeling what so ever. It truthfully moves a little bit but not to the point you think anything is going to fall off. No issues with it what so ever. Easy to clean as well.

Bought this for my Mom. She has hip problems which makes it difficult for her to sit in certain types of chairs. This laptop cart allows her to use her laptop while sitting in her recliner chair which is most comfortable for her. Yet she can easily roll it out of the way when she is getting in and out of her chair. She loves it!
