Stanley 1-93-601 Tool Roll, 12 Pocket

I don't like to be the one who puts in a bad review, but.....First off; I accidentally ordered two and seller wouldn't cancel my order, and seller didn't ship the package out until almost two days after I canceled the order, so that's already bad review for the seller.About the Tool Roll:It's a lot bigger than I initially thought it would be, and my pliers and screw drivers fits really awkwardly into it, not sure which pliers or screw drivers this is intended for, but all my 8", 7" and 6" pliers were too small to fit properly (8" and 7" pliers pictured), they are from brands like; Stanley Fatmax, Draper, Tactix and IRWIN. and the pockets are too narrow for both handles to fit in on all of them, so one handle goes in the pocket and the other has to hang out. In terms of screw drivers, I have some from Draper, Tactix and Stanley and they all fit really loosely in the pockets, both big and smaller screw drivers, so that's a big NO as well.The pen holder doesn't fits a Sharpie, but ironically doesn't fit the permanent markers from Stanley or Stanley Fatmax.But regardless of how the tools fit in the pockets, the roll gets massive when rolled up, so it doesn't even fit in my tool box with tools in it.So in conclusion: roll is too big and pockets are too small / narrow.I would not recommend these to anyone.Recommendation: From a design point of view; it would make a lot more sense to make the pockets out of a elastic / flexible material, so it's more accepting of different tools

Excellent size for carrying either a selection or all of one particular type. Keeps them all in once place, easy to find and access.I recently got an expensive set of sreqdrivers and wanted to keep them safe rather than in a toolbox where I can't find them. This did the job, I knew stanley was a good brand so trusted it to be good quality, it certainly feels like it and all the screwdrivers are now easy to find.There is a zip pocket which is great for any odd tools that don't fit in the pouch.As some have already said and should be aware of it is quite big so if you do roll it, it isn't a small roll. Just something to be aware of when putting your tools in it.Overall, good size, reasonably priced does the job it's meant to

A really good size for carrying a selection of tools (such as spanner sets, chisels, rasps an files or even knives) in a neat, compact form. Material seems quite strong but sharp-edged tools may eventually wear through with use over time. Material also feels somewhat water-resistant so may keep tools dry and corrosion free in damp conditions. A separate zipped compartment at one end of the roll of pockets is useful additional storage for other smaller items.

This item arrive promptly from somewhere in Europe. It is well made , sturdy and good value for money. It is however very large. It is my own fault for not having read the measurements provided and whist it comfortably fits a full selection of electical screwdrivers, wire strippers and pliers, it is regrettably 4 inches too long making it quite cumbersome as a tool roll for me at least. Only 3 stars as it’s size detracts from its functionality. Lesson learnt, read the specifications first before purchasing.

I was sceptical at first about this product. I wanted a bag for my cycling tools to make them easily accessible when needed, this fits the bill very well. I can fit all my tools in nicely, including a few that are a little awkward, plus the zipped pocket is useful for odds and ends that don't fit into the individual pockets. All in all this is just what I needed, and it will last well given it's made of robust material. Highly recommended.
