Recommended to purchase these for trimming horses feet. They have saved my arms (and clothes) from lots of little nicks from the rasps (since I'm a beginner and not very good with my tools). They are warm (it is summer and hot where I live) but I think they are worth it to not have bits taken out of my clothes and skin. I have skinny wrists, so purchased the 8.6 x 3.7 Inches size and it is snug enough to stay put but not too constricting. There is stretch in the material (it easily stretches to go over my wrist holding my long sleeve shirt). Highly recommend to anyone looking for protection on their arms from rasps, knives, etc.

I can't say enough good things about these sleeves. I have fragile skin that cuts and tears easily so I decided to try these. I love them. They're a tad bit scratchy but they're cut resistant material so it makes sense that it has to be a tougher fabric to protect the skin. I literally wear a pair every day. I've washed and dried them multiple times and they're still great. My arms are on the smaller side and they're perfect for me. They stay in place and work well. I haven't had any injuries to my forearms since I started wearing them.

It does protect tender skin on the arms. It really is not tapered as much as i would prefer from elbow. My main disappointment is that i find it kind of scratchy on the inside. I was hoping for a soft smooth interior wall of comfort. To make mine more comfortable I pour a BUNCH of talcum powder on the inside to get a cotton-like softness feeling. Again, it is thick enough that it does a good job of protecting arms from scrapes & bumps.

These sleeve protectors are on the thick side and will definitely protect my arms from the when the animals jump up to greet me. I just wish they were longer to cover my upper arms.

i bought these arm protectors to use when i volunteer at our local animal shelter. We have a lot of dogs who get very excited when brought to our dog runs for exercise. I have had about 10 episodes where a dog scratched of otherwise wounded my arms in its excitement. I found out about these from my son in law who uses them in his work so i bought them to try because i was seriously considering giving up my volunteer job. What a bargain! I received 2 pairs for an excellent price, but more importantly, i have not had a wound or scratch on my arms since wearing them! I am also surprised that even in the hot summer weather they dont feel overly warm on my arms. These saved my volunteer job so I am very happy!
