i use this for three of my grandchildren which are toddlers and it gives them a great selection of snacks throughout the day. its convenient, slim design, closes and locks but also is easy for them to open when they need a snack. is tough enough for an occasional drop to the floor but also stays locked if it does. hand wash or dishwasher safe also. doesn’t keep foods but i didn’t buy it for that feature. if needed you could easily put a portable cold ice pack in near it and it would stay chilled for quite a while. we take it in the car, to the beach, to the store, anywhere a snack may be needed. it gives toddlers the options to choose what they want and the sections are just deep enough to provide enough of one snack without over indulging then they can move on to a different snack.

I cannot say enough great things about these kids bento lunchboxes! We use them at least 5 days a week and absolutely love them. They making packing lunches so easy. When I first bought one for my daughter I was a little skeptical about the size and considered buying a larger one from another company, but then I fell in love. These hold much more food than they appear, and they really help me quickly put lunches together with the different compartments. I have one for my 5 year old and another for my 3 year old, but my husband and I have even used them ourselves. I get in a rhythm of what goes where and it has truly made packing lunches fun and easy. They are definitely leak proof as well. Many times I will put yogurt, fruit cups, and sauces in the various compartments, and even with the kids flipping these every which way the liquids stay in place and don't spill over into other compartments. A full sandwich will easily fit when cut in half and placed in the large compartment, and the other areas are great for portioning out other snacks and sides. I usually pack these the night before, and the kids have them out at school hours before lunch. Nothing gets soggy even when there is a mix of humidity level items in the compartments, and many items are still cool and editable when they return home with any leftovers. They are super easy to clean too. Since we use them so often I hand wash them when the kids get home and let them air dry on the counter, but they are dishwasher safe. We especially love them on road trips because they are the perfect size for the kids to hold on their laps and eat mess free. The rubber around the edges and on the bottom prevent them from moving around while either filling or while eating. The designs are very cute, and over a year later with so much use they have not scratched or faded one bit. We have not experienced any staining either. I recommend these to everyone and am buying a second set for my kids to have at their grandparents as well.

I purchased this product 3 months ago and have used it daily since then. However, the inner silicon leak proof lining has degraded and is falling apart making it unsafe to use (as it can fall into the food). I’m not sure if this is a genuine Bentgo box or not, but if it is the silicone material used for the lining is of very poor quality. For this price I would expect to use the lunchbox for more than just 3 months!! Bentgo have a 1-year warranty on their product, so let’s see if this seller upholds the warranty guarantee and is honest with their customers or not. I’ve messaged them but so far have received no real response.
