Perfect as usual. Great for sketching.
Perfect as usual. No breakage and the color was exactly as I expected. Great buy for sketching. Just remember - these are colored pencils and do not erase completely like a regular graphite pencil would.

Best red pencil that no mechanical lead can beat
My FAVORITE red pencil for sketching. The red looks great on toned paper which is what I prefer to sketch on. It doesn't have that weird waxy sheen that mechanical red lead has. They feel so great to draw with, very similar to a #2 pencil (one of my preferred drawing utensils).They erase great. I do have a heavy hand, so sometimes not all of it erases perfectly, but that's definitely on me.

Artist MUST HAVE
This is a MUST for artists who want to feel like a pro. I’m sure you’ve seen the old animators from the 1930’s use red colored pencils to sketch and this is the way to replicate it. I use this color, the blue and the non-photo blue all the time and it has become my go-to for sketching. The pencil can be easily erased and this color is super easy to see. Overall I would totally recommend to get this pack just because if you sketch a lot, trust me you are going to need all of these pencils.
