My old backyard light was a quartz-halogen, and that was bright, but whenever my girlfriend would forget to turn the backyard light off, all I could think about was how much energy that light was consuming. So when it finally burned out a tube, I decided to replace it with this modern LED lamp instead. It's a much better light and very easy to install.Opening up the box, the light is complete with the light, a gasket, a bracket, screws, and orange-colored wire nuts. Removing the old lamp was as simple as using a screwdriver to take out the old mounting screw, then undoing the old wires by unscrewing the old wire nuts. Then, to install the new lamp, all I had to do was take off the old bracket with a screwdriver, put the new bracket on, put the gasket on (it's self-adhesive; just peel off the paper), and then attach the black wire to the black wire; the white wire to the white wire, and the green wire to the ground on the bracket--using the included wire nuts. One last screw and the light was mounted. Just had to make sure the light sensor was on top when mounting.I flipped the switch but the light didn't come on, because it was too bright out. Once the brightness dropped as the sun set, the light came on and boy, is it really bright. A lot brighter than my old quartz-halogen, with a lot more throw and a lot less energy consumption. The light sensor means that even if I leave the switch on, the light will shut off in the daytime, saving me money. This light is really bright, so it's important to aim the three lamps properly, or you'll light up your neighbor's yard too. I'm pretty sure that the light is bright enough to shine through a skinny person. It actually lights up the far end of my yard at some 60 feet away, which is amazing.The instructions say it should be installed by a trained/approved electrician, but as long as you remember to turn the light switch off before messing with the wires, you should have no problem with installing the lamp. As always, your mileage may vary.

Easy installation, very bright, great with wall-switch or solar operation. This is my second security light - the first stopped working after nearly 5 1/2 years, and the LED's are not replaceable. These dual lights turn my backyard to daylight when I need them, they lasted a long time, and the price only increased by 50 cents!

Update - April 2023: This light lasted 14 months and died. Worked great before then. Warranty covers only 12 months, per email with the manufacturer. I will not buy this brand again. Disappointing.Here is my original review after time of purchase February 2022: I mounted this above my backdoor, and it lights up the entire backyard of my 40' wide city lot. Very happy with the quality of the unit and brightness. It does not weigh much, which made installation fairly easy. The large main light in the center can pivot up, down and sideways. The two small outer lights can also pivot up, down and sideways. I like that feature. The company that makes the light was very responsive when the dusk to dawn photosensor was not working after installation. They sent a new light right away. As an aside, all the photos of this light on Amazon show it mounted with the photosensor facing down. However, the instruction manual shows it mounted with the photosensor facing up. I followed the instruction manual, and the light is working well. I will be interested to see how durable this light is over time through cold Minnesota winters and hot, humid summers.

For just 3000 LM it shines lots of light over a large area and you can adjust the field. Good value.

Overall, very nice light unit. A few issues with it. First, there is almost no room between the casing and the wall (no room inside the unit) in which to store the wiring. My lights were mounted directly to the wood roof eave, with the service wire merely pushed through a hole in the eave. As a result, I needed to buy a Sigma 143854WH round all-weather outlet box from my local Ace Hardware, which I mounted to the eave, and to which I mounted the LEPOWER security light. If you have a junction box already installed, to which you will be mounting the lights, you will not need to purchase one. I don't think you could successfully mount the lights directly to a wall without one, however.Second, I found the mounting of the unit to the supplied crossbar problematic. The included central screw (mounted downward through the crossbar) seemed too short to reach the threads of the tubular bolt/screw intended to go upwards through the center of the unit to screw onto the central screw. I worked around that by instead unscrewing the central screw from the crossbar, and using it to directly screw upwards through the unit into the crossbar, which I had mounted onto the Sigma outlet box.The supplied wire nuts are standard ones. Instead, I used DRYCONN 62120 waterproof connectors designed for wet locations since my light is mounted outdoors in a coastal location. Perhaps overkill, but the salt air here will corrode most connections unless they are very well protected. That may not be necessary for drier locations.The lights work very nicely. The light provided is very white, rather than the more yellow color of the replaced incandescent PAR30 bulbs in the old fixture. Of course, being LEDs, they also use much less electricity. The unit allows them to each be adjusted about 90 degrees in azimuth and elevation. The coverage is very even, and is bright enough to give reasonable brightness out to about 60 to 80 feet. In the picture I've included, the bird feeder pole just to the left of center is about 60 feet from the light. The phone camera doesn't quite do the light justice; there is a fair amount of light at that distance. Perhaps not enough to read by, but plenty to see where you're walking.In summary, these were what I was looking for in a replacement unit. Note that these do not include a light sensor, so they must be manually turned on and off. The integrated LED units are not replaceable, but hopefully they will last for years, and will use much less electricity than the incandescent unit they replaced. Recommended.

The one I received works as it should. It is more than bright enough to shine down my drive way. I have only had it for 2 days as I tell you this. I hope it lasts for the 50,000 hours as it says it will in the description. It turns on at dusk and off at dawn as it says it will.

Very happy with the product. Light is very bright and flexible considering the two side floods that allow you to spread the coverage more specifically compared to a typical 1 lamp fixture. Quality is very good, better than I expected for the price. Very easy to install if you are replacing an existing light with the correct size round box.I plan to buy another for the other end of the house. Would buy it again but read below to see if it's important to you to have the 3 modes. I don't see where the LEPOWER has 3 modes.My only regret, is if I knew the AmeriTop had the 3 modes one of which lets you turn the light on if desired by switching your light switch off/on quickly I would have bought the motion detector w/3 modes version of theirs. I thought it was only the typical dusk to dawn type only.

El precio esta muy bien y la lampara funciona perfectamente, luz muy brillante, mi patio es de 30mts2 y por las noches hasta parece de dia desde la ventana. Facil instalacion y la funcionalidad de dirigir las 3 lamparas a diferentes lugares es excelente.Lo unico que no me gusta es que tiene un sensor que solo permite que la lampara prenda cuando empieza a anochecer, pero aun asi el sensor funciona bien y lampara siempre prende cuando apenas empieza a anochecer por lo que no eh tenido ningun problema cuando necesito luz en el patio.Resiste lluvia, calor intenso y frio, todo perfecto con esta lampara en mas 1 anio de uso.

La verdad no pensé que iluminara tanto y tan bien! Es súper fácil de instalar y frente a mi casa tengo un poste con luz del ayuntamiento pues bueno... esta lámpara da más luz que la de ellos! Estoy encantado y maravillado con su eficiencia

Muy buenas luces, tiran mucha luz , cubre un espacio suficiente, son como para espacios grandes, ya que tira hasta al fondo si no hay nada que cubra o tape, pero excelentes

Quede satisfecho a tal grado que compre otro para la parte trasera y aunque en la imagen no se logra distinguir bien la verdad que si cumplió las expectativas que tenia de la lampara y aparte muy fácil de instalar.
