Bosch Electric Leaf Blower and Vacuum UniversalGardenTidy 3000

Back in the day I always used to treat myself to Bosch gear. But then their product quality and design seemed to slide. They were no longer a good buy. This feels like a return to form. Great device. Powerful performer! Easy to assemble, easy to change between blower and vac, and a nicely designed bag and harness. Decent cable too. I've been using it for several months now and I'm so glad I chose it. Very pleased.

I previously had the 1800w version for many years and found it reliable and fit for purpose. This model being 3000w excels the older one on power, which is welcome. It clears leaves and debris on lawns and driveways with ease. At 4.7kg it's the same as the older model and by the standards of corded blowers is lightweight. I can't comment on the vac function as it's not something my large garden area suits. I will concede that the previous model had a switch that proved difficult to turn on at times and hope this one is better. The variable power option was a must for me and this Bosch is excellent in that regard. Being corded, it is more powerful than battery models I've tried and doesn't suffer from the reduced usage time that plagues battery powered blowers. I'll update after more use regarding durability and the performance of the on/off switch.

The shedding feature is very important to a leaf vacuuming. It makes some larger things break in pieces and goes into the bag smoothly.It is also good for compose or save space into the wheelie bin.I had it already for 3 years , still working perfectly.The bag is high quality.One bad side is changing the vacuum into blower need to take some time to do. But I am not usually need it.

Before i start i dont know the durability and reliability of this product but this is a very powerful blower and good vacuumVery good value for moneyA little loud but cares about noise when you got powerThe size is pretty bulky and takes a bit of getting use to but overall this is a very good purchase

Just to be clear the review question for this asks for stars for drying power (I put 4 stars as not sure what they mean as this doesn't dry anything). However for blowing leaves and small debris and then hoovering them up it is 5* all the way. The blower is very useful in that you can lower and raise the power as required (which can be very useful when getting leaves from corners and gravel). Great for blowing leaves off gravel without blowing gravel everywhere. As a vacuum it works great, but suggest don't use when ground is wet as it will suck up mud that will clog the pipe and mechanism (but won't stop it ,it just makes a funny noise and then you dismantle it and clear the mud from the area around the shredder and from the suction pipe. Shredder works great (proper metal shredder) and really reduces the volume of the leaves hugely. Also, unlike some other similar machines I have read about, the bag appears very robust and I've had no problem with the zipper (good old Bosch). One final thing, some reviews have said it is a faff to remove the screw when switching between suction and blowing. This is true, but this makes the machine appear robust and is very good for safety as you can hear a click when the current cut-out engages and disengages when you screw it in all the way. If you are in the market for one of these for a small to medium size garden then this is pretty much perfect.

The product itself is brilliant. The instruction guide could have been clearer and would have given 5 stars if so. Used first time on our large garden and it’s sucked up all the leaves including pine needles which is a huge bonus for us. Not tried the leaf blower yet but I will assume that is equally as good. The power button is simple and easy to switch between how much pressure you need with the a simple turn of the switch. It is a robust tool but I’m a female and didn’t find it too heavy to carry. The shoulder strap is useful, the handle position is adjustable to what suits you. The bag capacity is fairly large for collecting your leaves. The leaves are shredded automatically when using. Long suction tube which actually reaches the ground! It’s in 3 connecting parts when you assemble it. The disconnection of the suction head with bag is really easy when needing to empty your collected rubbish into your garden bin. All in all this is the best one I’ve ever bought. Really pleased. Will make life so much simpler.We chose the corded version as we have a large garden. Have found in the past that cordless ones don’t power up / hold enough charge for extended use. It takes more than 20 minutes to do all of our garden and have found that our Ryobi chargeable only lasts for 20 minutes before it needs recharging. Hope that helps.

Bought this to replace a petrol garden vac. Previously had an older Bosch model. Was thinking I had made a mistake not getting a cordless machine but honestly this is a great bit of kit. Easy to set up. Feels well made. The metal blade instead of plastic feels like it should be robust. The variable speed is a game changer for use on gravel areas, no more sucking up stones! The cable length is pretty decent and when paired with a long extension cable it’s not been a hassle at all. For the price point it feels like great value.

The leaf blower itself is great but the strap it was supplied with was poor quality and the clip broke on first use. Bosch after sales were useless as per my previous experience of them and never replied to emails. The leaf blower is quite heavy and you really do need the shoulder strap . Rather than send the whole thing back to Amazon I contacted them by chat. They gave me a small refund and I have sourced a strap from a hold-all which works well.So I’d recommend the product but you know if something goes wrong, no mater how minor, Bosch customer service are useless

Si compras este soplador para España el enchufe que tiene es para UK y no esta adaptado, en la caja no hay adaptador, para usarlo hace falta tambien ir y buscar para comprar si quieres utilizarlo en España. Durante la compra ni una palabra sobre esto y como vez en la foto tampoco se ven. No se como esta este soplador porque de momento no puedo usarlo sin adaptador para enchufarlo.

After years of manually raking up leaves in my backyard, I decided to invest and purchase this Bosch 3-in-1 blower/vac. Although I've had disappointing results with a previous blower/vac (from another well-known brand), I was convinced to try this Bosch unit based on other reviews I read.I was not disappointed. The blower/vac unit is well made and feels rugged for its intended purpose . The diagrams in the instructions were clear and made it very easy to assemble - without needing any tools. Note that the attachments for the blower and vacuum are easily swapped out but once the vacuum tubes are assembled together, they are not intended to be disassembled.Performance-wise, this unit was fantastic. It had plenty of blowing and suction power. The noise level was moderate but this is somewhat subjective as it depends on your expectations. I actually found it quite quiet, considering the power levels (which is adjustable using a rotary dial below the handle). It is easy to maneuver in blower mode, but a little more cumbersome with the vacuum bag attached. It weighs approx 3.5kg in blower mode but up to 4.8 lkg in vacuuming mode. Trying to move the vacuum tube around the yard does require some dexterity and I nned to use both hands, but a carry strap is supplied to take off some of the weight from your arms.Overall, I was very happy and surprised by the power of this unit during vacuuming. I used it to vacuum up leaves, grass clippings, and small sticks around my yard, and was able to do this at the lower end of the power levels. The metal blades for shredding did an excellent job of shredding up the leaves and sticks, filling up very little of the 50L storage bag. Performance-wise, I have to rate this five stars, but some owners may find it a bit heavy and cumbersome to use in vacuum mode. For anyone sick and tired of manually raking in their garden, this is a definite must-have. Highly recommended.
