Works great. You get what you pay for. So far it's held up.

The pond I am taking care of is only accessible from one side. So I ordered 2 of these so I could use all the poles from both of them to extend it far enough to get to the other side. It works great! And I still have a short hand-held one for up close skimming.

This skimmer net has been really handy for keeping leaves and bugs out of our pool. The long pole reaches across most of the pool without me having to lean in too much, and the net picks up debris pretty well. It’s lightweight enough to use for a while without getting tired. The only small downside is the pole flexes a little when it’s fully extended, but it still works fine for normal cleanup. Overall, good value and much better than the tiny skimmer we had before.
