This completely stopped the downstairs tenants cooking odors from smelling up my upstairs studio apartment. No smells at all! I live in a two story home where the downstairs is rented and my upstairs studio is my rental and we share a kitchen that's adjacent to the stairway that takes me upstairs to my home. For 6 years I have had to smell their food cooking. It's over powering and my curtains and bedding and living space smells like broccoli, garlic and burned out toasted cooking odors... opening my windows just draws more of the smell up to my space. My studio is 20x30 and the stairway. I was desperate and this was advertised as a lightning deal. I bought the smoke/smell filter option. It's was real easy to set up; ask I had to do it that the sealed bag off the filter and plug it in. There was already the smell of their dinner in my space when I set it up and I was expecting it to help eliminate or reduce the smell that was lingering but it didn't. I'm the morning my space was fresh: so fresh it almost felt cool and breezy. I've been running non stop since I plugged it in the first night and ALL SMELL IS GONE and STAYS GONE! They had friends over. So I go through the kitchen to go outside as to not bother them in their living room. The kitchen smelled wonderful with all kinds of food including chicken wings they had delivered... their space of like a fast food restaurant. I came back a half hour later, walked through their kitchen that's was still overwhelming incredible party food smells and went up to my space through the upstairs stairway just off our shared kitchen. My space HAD NO SMELLS AT ALL! It was completely fresh. It the very top of my stairway you could smell the kitchen but I'm my studio space I couldn't smell anything. I think ... When I first plugged it in that first evening the dust in my studio had smells trapped to them. Overnight that first night, the dust was removed so all the residual smell was cleaned out too. There's no dust anywhere in my space and it was crazy dusty especially the hallway to the stairwell. No dust. No smells. And it's VERY quiet. when it on high speed and TV is on you can't hear it at all and it doesn't interfere with the TV sound: I don't have to turn TV up because it's that quiet. I have a white noise machine to block out the traffic noise and thev sound of this air cleaner is quieter than that even when it's on high speed: it's a very soothing sound I bought two replacement filters. Each one is suppose to last about 2 months. The fan has 3 speeds and the low is really nothing and it sounds like it's off but it does still move a lot of air. I leave it in the medium. I read online that high speed can actually work against the filtering is it's in a small space because of the air movement blows the room air around too much. I just keep it on medium until bed and then I put it on low. It does have a sleep setting and timer and a child lock but I'm not using those functions at all. The blue glow light is not a problem at all I'm fact the glow is so low I use it for the hall night light and I removed the night light I had plugged into the hallway outlet. I'm extremely pleased I'm actually over joyed with it My curtains, bedding, furniture, clothes and bathroom towels are FRESH and SMELL FREE. I highly recommend this air cleaner fg it's amazingly effective. It's so small and light that you could move it anywhere but I've found the sweet spot just at the top of the stairway in the hall to my studio... life is all mine again without anyone's life stinking up mine. They are actually ordering one now two because the fellow downstairs needed to get to the attic. He came up and actually said wow it's so fresh up here; did you have the windows open all day. I said no it's too cold you do that but I did get this air cleaner. They'll get it tomorrow!

I notice the difference in the air within just a few minutes. With all of the dust and pollen we have in this area, the Mooka air purifier is a necessity. It makes a huge difference concerning the air particles that affect my sinus and cause me to cough. It allows me to be comfortable in my home, which I appreciate very much. It listed clearing pollen in the home and the vast majority of the purifiers that I looked at did not make that claim. It also clears the air of odor. I run this one in the heart of my home and I have another Mooka that I use in my bedroom so that I can sleep unaffected. I bought this one because I have been so pleased with the performance of the first Mooka. It is easy to operate and I set up automatic delivery of replacement filters. When I change the filters, I can see everything it has picked up to protect my home.

To be honest, I’ve only had this air purifier for 2–3 days, but I’ve already noticed a difference! I live with roommates, and I purchased it because I absolutely hate the smell of their cooking. Ever since I’ve been living with roommates, my sensitivity to smells has been WAY more intense, so I decided to give an air purifier a try. I put it right by my bedroom door because I feel like whenever they cook, the smoke and food smells travel under the gaps of my door and into my room. I just got home today, and as soon as I walked into the house, I could immediately smell food. I walked into my room expecting it to smell like their food like it normally does, BUT MY ROOM ACTUALLY SMELLED CLEAN! 😭 Mind you, I left my AC vents open, and usually when I come home, my room smells like whatever they’ve been cooking. But for the first time, I walked into my room and the air actually smelled clean and fresh. I LOVE IT! Normally, I would be so pissed because I hate coming home and having to smell other people’s cooking and scents, but honestly, it wasn’t that bad in my room today, and I’m SO happy about it. I put the purifier on high mode and placed it right by my door near the entrance. I’m honestly so impressed with how much of a difference I’ve noticed in such a short amount of time. This was definitely worth the $70, and I would absolutely purchase it again! I’m still thinking about getting some Glade plug-ins for my room just to add the cherry on top because I love when my room smells GOOD 😂💕. I may also put a door draft stopper under my door just to block the smells from getting in even more, but so far, I’m really happy with this purchase! If it’s already making this much of a difference after only 2–3 days, I’m excited to see how it does over time! 🙌🏽

This is a great product for the money. It's easy to use and I really enjoy the ambient blue light and the different settings and options. It's very quiet. I will definitely buy again for a gift or for another room.

I’ve only had it for about a week but so far so good it’s very very quiet. I love the sleep mode because when I put it in sleep mode, the light goes off and it’s very quiet. In my bedroom does seem to have less dust.

We have a 1,200 square foot home with three levels: a basement, a main floor, and a top floor. We have two cats (one short-haired, one long-haired) + two litterboxes + one German Shepherd (who sheds a lot and lays on the couch licking her paws constantly). I have year-round allergies, especially to dust. Our vacuum has a HEPA filter, which is a must for my allergies and all of the 'pet stuff' in the house - fur, dander, saliva, and litterboxes. We keep our home clean and I do regularly open the windows year-round to 'air out' the house, but sometimes I feel like it just isn't enough - not even when I've vacuumed the carpets (with baking soda sprinkled around first) and washed the furniture covers. I figured: try some air purifiers! I bought TWO of these. One was placed in the corner of our living room, near a forced-air vent, and the other was placed in our bedroom, on top of a dresser. We've had them running 24/7 for about a week now and I have to say: I LOVE THESE AIR PURIFIERS! There is a noticeable decrease in that 'dog dander' odor, as well as a decreased ability to smell the litterboxes. We scoop the litters once per day and clean/change them regularly, but their odor was till detectable once you got upstairs where they're located, especially on humid days. Not anymore, though! The stinky 'wet spot smell' that the dog leaves on the couch covers when she licks her paws is GONE, too. And dust seems to be not accumulating as rapidly as it did before on the mantle, TV stand or end tables. Before using these, when we were out of the house for a few hours then returned home, I'd find the air to feel 'stale' despite the cleaning and the regular window-opening. Now? The air isn't stale at all, and the house doesn't smell like anything - which is great! I also noticed that these unit get rid of 'cooking' smells. I regularly cook bacon, and usually that scent is detectable for the rest of the day - but not since we starting running these! And to top it all off: I've been breathing easier, too. Way less noticeable allergy symptoms. We keep them on 'low' and find that they are whisper-quiet. There is a 'sleep' mode that makes these run ever quieter, but we find that 'low' is quiet enough. In fact, my husband wishes they were louder to drown-out noise from outside. I am considering buying one for the basement, too, but the replacement filers come in packs of two filters, so that would irritate me LOL.

I’ve had this purifier for a year. I have a purifier in each room and then this one in our main living area because the other were too small to cover the whole living area. This one is by far the best. I wish I had gotten this one for every room. With all the others I have I’ll go to change the filter after 3-6mo and they look almost clean. With the mooka after a couple months I’ll notice a little build up on the top of the machine and when I go to change the filter it’s completely covered in grey junk. It absolutely does its job! Unless I just have zero dust in all the other rooms, which I doubt, this one is far superior. Def get this one!

We bought a second unit because the first worked well & good value for price ($45). Unit works quietly and it's compact. Design is attractive. Nightlight shuts off by holding the power button for three seconds which half the time turns off the power, which is annoying. We can feel a difference in the air quality in the room where it's being used, so it's helping but it's impossible to say how fine of smoke/ash particles are being captured.

I haven’t had any issues with this air purifier and have definitely noticed less dust around since using it. My only downside is more of a user issue, since it’s really meant for one room, I find myself carrying it around depending on where I need it. Overall, it works well and I’m happy with it!

These are perfect! I ordered a couple of them, including for my kids rooms. One of my children has pet rats, and this keeps the air clean and fresh - cutting down on the respiratory infections these little guys are prone to. Using them in our main living areas is great too, very quiet and compact, so there's no disruption when you're watching TV, on Zoom calls etc. For the price, this is an amazing product.

I kept accumulating so much dust in my 1400 square-foot apartment. It was so bad I would keep dusting every day I would cough so much and sneeze so much. Finally, I was recommended this product. I tried it out and it was perfect. It stopped all my symptoms and I don’t have to dust every day anymore. I rotate the humidifier from my room to my living room and it’s absolutely perfect. Highly recommend

I can’t tell how well it works as there has been nothing in the filter. It’s possible our basement air quality is okay though. It is quiet and seems to run nicely.
