JASGOOD Nylon Canvas Breathable Military Tactical Men Waist Belt with Plastic Buckle

These are really great hard wearing belts. I bought them for hiking, summer shorts, sportswear etc. The length supplied is generous but easily shortened, and the buckles make it infinitely adjustable so you get a perfect fitting belt every time. No awkward half-step looseness that plagues outdoor gear. The nylon is thick and sturdy, so if you want to hang tools and equipment on these belts, you absolutely can. They come in a single length but they're really easy to trim the excess from - the buckles are ingenious and make doing this a cinch. For extra strength I burn-seal the cut ends to prevent fraying nylon but this is honestly optional with this buckle design, unlike others. Each of mine shipped with an extra buckle free of charge but they're honestly the best plastic buckles out there so I doubt you'd need the replacement! The nylon will probably wear out first. These aren't like the brittle hardware of many belts like this. These are good quality genuine branded buckles, and you get spares! The only negative feedback I have is that the nylon is a little stiff, it could be softer and more pliable around the waist. However, it's still extremely comfortable and durable.

I have been using a belt like this for years. I bought it after reading a review by someone on here that mentioned a similar belt not going off in airport security. I was sold! I bought it, figured out how to put the buckle on, and on my next flight to New York, the real test would be the return flight and TSA at JFK. I went through the body scanner without any problem. I've gone through JFK a few times, San Francisco, and Las Vegas, and TSA has never told me to remove it. There is no metal; the buckle is plastic. It's light, but it doesn't stretch. I love it.

The belt comes as a length of platted nylon type material, a buckle assembly and a spare buckle. The idea is that you cut the long belt to your size before assembling. I had a struggle with this belt, trying to follow the poor photo instructions to work out how to attach the buckle. The belt, as supplied would go round a very large waist, maybe even 50 inch, but it can easily be cut down to a more manageable size. Having battled for an hour to work it out I finally got everything in the right place and I can now say it is the BEST belt I have had. Not only is it a thick, robust, nylon type material, but there are no buckle holes to restrict sizing or fail (as all my other leather belts have). If you expand a little (after a meal maybe) or contract, it is no problem because the belt is infinitely adjustable. It does stay done up and keeps its setting irrespective of sitting, standing, bending etc. After my initial frustrations I am now very pleased and would definately recommend this belt. Not sure how long it will last, but looking hopeful. The spare buckle is a nice touch but is this a warning of problems to come? Time will tell. Maybe a metal fastening would be better.

Delivery very quick. Belt is very tough, but lightweight, so you hardly know you are wearing it.Very flexible although it does not stretch, the material seems to be closer to Nylon than anything else. It does fray when being cut, which you can do with good pair of kitchen scissors, just run a flame around the edge after cutting to seal the end and it will be fine. The belt is adjustable to within millimetres unlike regular belts with holes. There is an elastic loop on the belt to tuck the end into if need be. So far no problems with the buckle which opens easily and closes firmly and securely. This item was supplied with a spare buckle - don't know if that is a good or bad sign - but I have been using it for a month now and it is absolutely fine. Airport security friendly. My only regret is that I did not get the 2-pack.

It's about 2 or 3mm thick, feels very robust, and the buckle feels very strong. It's entirely plastic too, which means you won't have problems with metal detectors. I was hesitant about buying the belt, as I have had belts with this type of buckle before and they used to slide loose. Not this buckle. For those of you who share my fear of this buckle not being very secure and becoming loose over time, you'll realise the second you put it on that this belt 'ain't comin' undone'. I also read on a review that someone thought the buckle was awkward, as you need to turn it almost perpendicular to your pelvis in order to slide the belt through it. This is true, it does need to be turned quite a bit, but that just means even less chance of the belt sliding loose if the buckle somehow manages to open. I would highly recommend this belt to anyone with big enough belt loops. I thought the price was a bit steep, but having it now, I'm more than happy to pay a little extra for something that's so high quality. And such a quick delivery of just a couple of days.

I work in an airport I was tired of always removing my belt and this is exactly what I needed, i don't have to remove my belt anymore it doesn't set off security alarms, no more fussing. It comes with extra buckle, the material is strong even the buckle seems to be strong enough for every day wear, easy to follow instructions if you want to trim the belt to size, the elastic loop holds the excess belt close to the body so no bulky material sticking out. Because I use this for work I prefer my belt to be tight and this certainly gives a good grip hasn't slipped and I have noticed I haven't had to adjust the tension at all, perfect for this reason. It can loosen easily and quickly just by the flick of the strap, again there is no fussing about with this belt. I needed this for work but I would recommend it to wear anytime.

Size issue I bought this belt because it can be locked in any position and because it had great reviews. I expected it to be like other nylon belts I have (e.g. craghoppers trousers). These are small, lightweight, and you barely know you're wearing it. But this belt is a very wide men's belt with a buckle width of 4.5cms! I tried it on but it dug in to me when sitting down and was not comfortable. This problem is a real shame because the belt was otherwise excellent. It locks in place so tighly that it will never slip undone like with other belts with an infinte range of adjustments. The belt can be resized and the buckle can even be replaced with a new one. There is even a free additional buckle which comes with it. I was very impressed with this. I seriously hope they consider making a smaller version.

I have a black belt like this too, and it too has a spare buckle. Whenever I travel and go through airport security I always dread the metal detector (I don't like wasting my time trying to get through there). These belts are definitely the solution. I have flown twice now with my plastic buckled belt and have not triggered the metal detector. In fact, one of the airport security people even asked me before I went through if mine was plastic (because most people take their belts off before going through)...so I'm obviously not the only one who thinks this is a great idea.

If you're looking for this type of belt, these are Excellent and I have been wearing it every day for 3 months. Very Durable and I do not expect it to even wear out with this material it's made of. The Metal Buckle is nice, but the Plastic buckle is much lighter and still like new with repeated opening and closing. As mentioned in other reviews, the Buckle works tight at first to use, but breaks in quickly and works much easier and still locks tight. Highly recommend this Belt and Buckle combination.

The belt is great and perfect for adjusting! After the inital adjustments, you will feel much more comfortable working with the buckle (which is plastic). Holds up great and probably won’t need to but more belts for a long time!
