Works great!
This is the ONLY thing I have ever found that kills Henbit weeds in my yard! I'd bought at least 6 other things at the hardware store that the label listed would kill it, and they didn't work at all! Then a nurseryman told me to get this and said he guaranteed it would kill it, and he was so right. I just put the amount indicated on the bottle, in a 2 gallon sprayer and it kills that stubborn henbit and all the other weeds!

This product WORKS.
Excellent product for crepe myrtles in Tx. I mixed as instructed and applied once to soil in mid spring just before crepes budded out. I didn't have ANY of that terrible scale that the plants were coated with last summer. This systemic insecticide (when mixed correctly for the plant size) works great!! Will absolutely be ordering more for nxt spring. Pleasantly surprised 🙂

Saved my crepe myrtles
This works and has an advantage of being a yearly treatment. Easy to use as no spraying is required; just pour the diluted product onto soil around plant. Please follow directions and do not apply to plants in bloom so as not to kill bees collecting pollen.

Be patient, it works
Some of my Green Giant Arborvitae suffered damage from a heavy snowfall, and the trunks had cracks in them. When this happens, the tree is in distress, and releases ethanol. The ethanol attracted borers/miners to the trees. Eventually, they would have killed the trees. So, I used this Fertilome as a systemic root drench. Pour the correct amount around the base of the trunk, and the roots suck it up into the tree, killing the bugs as they feed on the trunk. Unfortunately, it's an annual process until the tree completely heals. But, I will say this much. I can tell which trees are infected. The branches and leaves are drooping, and usually you will find holes in the trunk. Applied this in the spring. Within 2 weeks, the trees started perking up, and new growth was coming in quickly. This will be my 2nd year of this process, and none of the trees died. May take another application next year to rid the tree of the infestation. Much cheaper than replacing a 30' Green Giant Arborvitae Tree !!!!!

Worked OK
The product worked OK at greatly reducing my lantern fly infestation...did not eliminate it, however. Additional research indicates the product may be harmful to humans. I did not experience side effects.

Have been using this for years on Cana Lillies
The issue on my Cana Lillies is the leaf roller bugs do a number on them every spring. And the solution is to treat the plants as they have just started growing but before the bugs have a chance to establish themselves. I've used this product for a few years and been pretty happy with the performance, adding about 16 oz. to a 2-gallon pail and then literally drenching the soil and inside the plants once they get about 12" in height. The mixture can be poured from a watering can (my preferred method) or with a pressure sprayer (which just takes a long time to really get the volume needed into the soil). I don't know of an alternative to this product and this large jug from Amazon is a good value compared to the little bottles I've been using from my local garden supply shop. In past summers, it has given good protection for a month or so before the leaf rollers show up again, but less aggressively. I treated a little heavier and earlier this year, so time will tell; I may also do a mid-summer drench for good measure.

keeps aphids off crape myrtles
I use it on Crape Myrtles in south Louisiana. aphids were making the leaves black and sticky. applied drench per directions in winter of 2024-25. no aphids that summer. made application this winter 2025-26. We'll see, but i'm confident the aphids will not be a problem.

Excllent product but a little expensive
I recently used Tree & Shrub Drench for my garden, and I couldn't be happier with the results. This product has truly transformed the health and vitality of my trees and shrubs, and I wanted to share my positive experience. First and foremost, Tree & Shrub Drench is incredibly easy to use. The instructions were clear and straightforward, making it accessible even for someone like me who doesn't have a green thumb. I simply mixed the recommended amount of the drench with water and applied it to the base of my trees and shrubs. The fact that it's a drench means it gets right to the roots where it's needed most. Overall, I can't recommend Tree & Shrub Drench enough. It's a game-changer for anyone looking to improve the health and appearance of their trees and shrubs. Easy to use, effective, and environmentally friendly – it's a win-win all around. My garden has never looked better, and I owe it all to Tree & Shrub Drench!

Brilliant product - wish we had tried it sooner to get rid of the aphids

Absolutely amazing! I’ve had a soft scale infestation on my hydrangeas for 2 years now and have tried absolutely everything to get rid of them. This has literally been the best purchase I’ve ever made, as 3-4 weeks in, my hydrangeas are incredibly almost 100% free of these awful pests! Will definitely be buying this again!
