ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition 8GB GDDR5 Gaming Graphics Card (ZT-P10700A-10P)

When I saw the gtx 1080 when it first released, I realized two things. One, I wanted this card. Second, I didn't have the patience to save up for it. That's when this bad boy comes in. The GTX 1070 is a beast at $449 (or at least that's what they cost when I bought them, thanks 1080Ti). I originally had the 1070 ftw but bought 2 zotac founders cards because of sli. Every game I play with just one card card can be run at 4k max settings (except for anti aliasing), usually hovering around 60 if not going over, with some titles dipping into the mid 30s if you're in a really intensive part of a map or whatever, i.e project cars at night with rain and stuff. While this card can do 4k, 1440p is still the sweet spot for this beast. That was before overclocking. I don't know if my cards are golden (I say "cards" because I'm running 2 in sli) but to me +215 on the core and +500 on the already faster than usual gddr5 is pretty good. Speaking of sli, it's not a nightmare. It doesn't always work but when it does, it works very well (I'm using the sli hb bridge if it helps). Using pcars as a reference, at night with rain on circuit de 24 heures du mans with no other cars to eliminate cpu bottleneck, both cards in sli manage north of 100fps at 4k max settings except for anti aliasing and fxaa because 4k doesn't need that. That's impressive in my books. So performance is great, but what about the card itself? It's a high quality item and it knows it. The shroud is beautifully finished, with the illuminating GeForce logo reminding everyone that you're pro mlg, just as long as your case has a window. The backplate is also nicely done, and the patterns look cool. Half of the backplate is removable to allow better airflow in sli. I haven't removed the plate yet but I plan to. In fact, i ought to, the top card gets kind of toasty as my motherboard doesnt have pcie slot spacing that leaves room between the 2 cards. The card comes with a driver cd which is nice for first time installs, as well as installation of firestorm, zotac's overclocking utility. I personally prefer precision but firestorm isn't too far behind. It also comes with (I think 2) 2x6 pin to 8 pin connector(s?). Overall, the 1070 is amazing value, and the Zotac 1070 founders is a good version of this card. Maybe I'll buy a 3rd and see how much further I can get in 3dmark firestrike :)

Purchased ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition for my Alienware X51 R2. The card is too large for an easy change out and required some slight case modifications that were relatively simple. I expected this so it was no surprise. The card is 10.5 inches long, and the 8 pin PCIe power plug sits at the very end of the card on the left side (right side or bottom of the Alienware X51 R2 Case. After some small modifications to the computer case only, the card squeezed into place. It runs perfect and is much cooler and quieter than the older card. It's not overclocked out of the box, but it doesn't need it. It's a monster and can handle the most extreme of games. There's room to overclock with the Alienware 330W PSU. It came with the Driver Disc, information card, and a PCIe 6x2 pin to 8 pin adapter. This card has a DVI-D (DL) port, one HDMI, and three DisplayPort connections. If you have a display that only supports VGA, you will need to get a DisplayPort to VGA adapter since DVI-D has no analog support. For Alienware X51 R2 users, you will need to remove the front grill fan from the computer- you will not need it. Some cutting of the internal dust screen at the bottom of the computer case was needed to give room for the 8 pin PCIe power plug. This may be avoided if you also purchase a 6pin to 8pin power adapter with a right angle plug on the 8pin side.

Was very surprised to get mine 1 day earlier than told. Took out my gtx970 and popped the gtx1070 in its place and fired up the compy. everything is running smooth and had no issues at all on install. i will note that my MSI 970 mobo is a slight bottle neck for it because it really wants to be used on a PCIE 3.0 board and mine is a v2. still runs very very nice but will most likely shine better on a bigger mobo (or maybe i just need to tweak it some). my rating is a 4 star because it will only shine as bright as it can in my smaller mobo. money well spent on the 1070.

Powerful and quiet fan. I can speed it up to 80-100% and not hear it from headphones and as a result get temps from 40-65°c in games. The 8gb of vram is nice and fast and has plenty of capacity for even the largest textures. It also has a good overclocking headroom. I was able to have stable games at +225 on GPU or effectively an 11.1% improvement and +185 on memory or a small 0.025% improvement nor impressive but hey an improvement. These Zotac cards do also come with free 10 year warrenty but the Zotac Firestorm Overclocking software is underwhelming but EVGA PrecisionX or MSI Afterburner (both free and not requiring purchase) does the job. They did get rid of DVI-D but that was aging and is phasing out kinda surprised they kept DVI-I but hey that will phase quickly. My only gripe is that it is $450 and I think it isn't worth any more $400 because graphics card starts at $380

Just upgraded from a 960ti to the 1070 founders edition. So far, I am so pleased with the results. First, my computer passes VR ready tests with flying colors, and I am definitely looking forward to the full VR experience. Second, I am running games at 1080p, which is not even pushing this GPU at all. This GPU really seems to sit at the sweet spot for 1440p gaming, but the lack of worrying about performance at this resolution is very nice. The GPU is packed well and professionally. I think all the Founder's Editions look the same, but I am impressed nonetheless. Definitely feels like a big upgrade, looks like a big upgrade, and performs like a big upgrade. One weird tech problem though - I had a hard time booting past the bios with the graphics card, and actually had to go into my BIOS and switch my PCI setting from EFI to Legacy ROM. I won't knock the card for this as I think this was a problem with my motherboard, but I still wanted to throw this in the review in case anyone else has the same issue as I did. Absolutely loved this card. Flawless graphics until this morning when it refused to provide video. Tested card on 3 other machines and same no signal with DP, HDMI, or DVI. FYI zero modification, riva tuner, overclocking, etc. Factory config. RMA process is incredibly scammy. 5 different email addresses from 2 different zotac domains now. Each time I provide the requested information I get a reply from a new address asking for the same info again. NEVER BUY FROM ZOTAC.

I had hoped these GPU's color schemes would match the pretty ZOTAC box, but alas they do not; they are (gunmetal?) gray. Also, this is not one of the higher end 1070s - it's pretty average, if not lower end. (clock speed, power consumption, weight, size, etc). They do perform just fine, though. Just don't expect a Transformeresque Bumblebee GPU in SS Camaro mode.

I've never been a fan of Zotac, not sure why except they're always priced at the lowest end. This is a great card! I have several 980 Ti's and a couple GTX 1080's and needed to try the one in the middle. I'm now having to rationalize why I spent the money on the 1080's! My favorite builds used to have GTX 970's in them, now I'm enamored with the 1070 price/performance ratio. There is no perceptible difference running a 1080 next to this one. Same programs and games run blindingly quickly. FPS is higher on the 1080, but that translates to nothing noticeable by a human being. I'm set up to run 2 complete systems side by side, working off the same i7 5820K CPU's and 3000Ghz Corsair Ram with the same 4k monitors also next to each other. This card is fast, handles anything, runs about 10 degrees cooler (Celsius), takes a back seat to nothing.

This card is super powerful, but the default fan curve is silly. It hits thermal throttling way too easily. If you're comfortable installing Afterburner or something like that so you can customize the fan curve, I would totally recommend this. Otherwise, go for an AIB partner model with better default cooling settings.

No tiene inconveniente, para jugar a 1080p a 60 fps está sobradisima, la potencia es increíble. Decían que la versión fe hace mucho ruido y se calienta más, respecto al ruido lo suele hacer pero es muuuuuy poco frecuente y de calor no he tenido ningún problema

I'm more of an AMD customer and I'd say if you are gaming on a budget your price to performance ratio is better with an r9 fury. As you will save a few hundred for a minor dip in performance. You will also require an expensive G-sync monitor if you wish to use the graphics card to its potential and free sync is cheaper, if you are only playing 1080p games at 60 hertz this card is NOT FOR YOU! It works as intended and I'm playing battlefield 1 in 1440 really smoothly. It delivers 1440p gaming as promised but games are getting so much more graphically demanding exponentially! So you can never ever future proof a gpu unless you pay a lot for a titan X. Overall a visually pleasing design and doing great for current titles.

Excelente GPU....mientras funciona. Lamentablemente los drivers de Nvidia para la GTX 1070 son pésimos y crashea cada que inicia algún juego. Tengo también una GTX 680 como backup y nunca me a crasheado, en el reddit del nuevo Driver de Nvidia está lleno de quejas de esto. La devolveré y esperaré a que Nvidia saque Drivers que funcionen, de mientras, con el driver 368.39 es un lindo pisapapeles UPDATE: Los ultimos drivers de nvidia solucionaron el problema de crasheo y funciona de maravillas ahora

Después de pasar una mala experiencia con una 970 mini itx de gigabyte, me decidí a comprar la versión de referencia para evitar problemas. La tarjeta es excelente aún que crahsea con algunos juegos ya un poco antiguos como Skyrim. Los más nuevos corren perfectamente bien. Sólo hay que evitar que se instalen los extras que no son necesarios incluidos en el paquete de drivers de nvidia, como el nvidia experience que causa que varios juegos crasheen por alguna extraña razón. I regret nothing.
