Tanologist Dark Self-Tan Drops, Face Tanning Drops, 1.01 Fl Oz

I actually really like these tanning drops, especially because the color is completely buildable and customizable. Since you mix the drops into your own moisturizer, you can control how light or dark you want your tan to be. If you’re new to self-tanning, I highly recommend starting with 4–6 drops and waiting a full 24 hours before deciding if you want to go darker. The more drops you use, the deeper the tan will develop. It takes about 4–6 hours to fully develop, and the biggest tip I can give is to mix the drops thoroughly with your moisturizer before applying. I used it on my face, arms, and the tops of my hands, and overall the finish looked smooth and natural with no streaks or blotchy patches. I did miss washing around my palm to wrist area, didn’t wash well enough, so I had a little color left there, but that was user error more than the product itself. I also love that I can use whatever moisturizer I already like instead of being stuck with a specific tanning lotion. The application felt very smooth for me, although I do think results may depend somewhat on the moisturizer you choose. The scent is what you’d expect from a tanning product — noticeable, but not overwhelming. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it either. For around $20, I think this is a great value. Even though the bottle looks small, you only need a few drops each application, so I can see it lasting for months with regular weekly use. One thing I would recommend: don’t try this for the first time the day before a big event. Give yourself time to test how many drops work best for your skin tone and desired look. Overall, I think this is a great beginner-friendly self-tanner with very natural, buildable results.

Ok, I was skeptical about this stuff. I bought it because I read about it in a magazine but didn't really think it would work. Holy Moly!!! This stuff works!!! I use my own favorite lotion and mix in some drops (I do use a few more than the directions say to use). After a few days of using it, I actually look tan!!! I wish I had taken before and after pics to show but I really didn't think it would work so well. No smell, no weird sticky feeling, no transfer, natural looking color. I look like I went to the beach. Get this stuff!!!! I will definitely be buying more!

I'm super pale, w pink undertones. Normally everything turns me orange, and I read other reviews saying this was orange on them. I was a tad skeptical. I exfoliated before my first application and reapply every ~4 days w CeraVe lotion. Make sure you mix the drops w enough lotion, I always use more than I do on normal days to prevent streaks. It does sit a little orange on my face, so I only use one drop for that. But 10/10, will definitely be rebuying.

Love the results and the ease of use. Yes this isn't as clear a formula as what you might purchase in a store. And looking at the product it looks like it's expired based on the numbers on the product. However, the results don't lie. It still works very very well. Pretty much no smell. I use it with Nivea cocoa butter cream formula And it just smells like cocoa butter. You can feel it on your skin but no more than if you put on a thick coating of lotion. I just used my hands and had zero streaks and it lasted a lot longer than I expected. At least 5 to 7 days. The people posting photos of their hands having product on it in between their fingers literally just didn't wash their hands good enough. You do have to be a tad bit experienced in using sunless tanner to use this product. Y'all made me a believer in tan drops. The only reason I've given four stars is because it's expired.

I have been using self tanners for years. I absolutley love these. The color is beautiful and streak free. I add to my lotion. I stay golden all year. There is a trick to all self tanning. This is no different and that is the prep. Shower, exfoliate, completley dry your skin then mix the drops in your favorite lotion. Apply in circular motion. (I use Jergens Natural Glow) They compliment each other nicely with a beautiful and natural color. The price is amazing and better than the pricey products.

Awesome product! Needed something to tan my face as my body naturally tans faster and my skin regime tends to lighten my skin. I put a couple drops in my night-time moisturizer. In the morning the color has developed wonderfully. I like that you can choose how dark you want it to be by how many drops you use. The only thing I would caution is that it could cause problems with acne. I am not acne prone but have had a few bad pimples since I started using it, it seems to clog the pores a bit. Will be repurchasing.

I have used this before and really liked it. Got this new bottle and it must be expired or something. Nothing happens at all. Shipped it back for a new one. I will see if the new one is any better. Received a new bottle and this is a tad better but this is NOT a Dark tan, It is barely a tan! Not the same thing as even a year ago. I think it is ALL OLD STOCK. Do not waste you time or money!

I like that it works with oil. It does have a smell and it does leave you orange! Not as good as advertised. It does last longer than most!

Very happy with the product. Good colour - I use it on my face, 4 drops. It has a very pleasant smell, not at all like the usual self tanning smell which I hate. Will definitely be getting more when needed.

3 gouttes plus un dé de crème de nuit et le lendemain très belle couleur de peau ! À faire un jour sur deux c’est super et plus besoin d’exposition au soleil…ce qui est bien pour la peau !

Habe schon einige Drops probiert, keine haben mich richtig überzeugt, aber die Tanologist Self–Tan Drops schon. Schöne Bräune, lang anhaltend.
