My girl is a 35-40lb Staffordshire/American Pit mixed breed and this toy has been an excellent addition to our play routine. I like to make sure she gets 1-2 hours of exercise every night to keep up her physique, and we use this toy routinely as a transition from the lure pole to soccer. I used this toy to teach her the "get it" command which has helped immensely with teaching her impulse control with toys and her prey drive. She does lose interest in it after 4-5 rounds of jumping and tugging, but it's helped to get her into better shape. It's lasted us for a long time and hasn't begun to show any wear and tear, so I believe it's relatively well-made as well. The instructions for setup were also easy to follow. All in all, it's not our favorite, but it is a staple and well worth the money if you have a high energy pup!

Mailigator approved! After trying to build my own- dog pull toy system and many fails- I finally bought this one. If it last 30 days it was $20 we spent! If it last three months, I’m going to throw it away and put up a fresh one. I lived by the coast and everything rusts. Also I don’t want that spring to get over-taxed and break. I added a “cut by the foot”- thick chain, between that spring and the pull rope. I was worried about that spring popping apart in her face. Also, the extra foot of rope makes it easier to attach a large Kong tire when she inevitably chews through the rope. Good so far! 2 hours in.

Swivel broke off in about 30seconds! (10 month old , 50lb staffy) I had seen reviews of the same happening to others and decided to give it a go anyways. Was able to use without the swivel (pictured) . Pup LOVES it! He was worn out after playing followed by a good meal. Definitely worth the money for the hardware alone. Rope is a bit small for my liking , we will be using a more sturdy rope at the first sight of any fraying etc. Overall good product!

Holds up to our heavy chewers. Long lasting. Good for larger dogs and medium. Dogs have lots of fun.

So this really has no real spring. It's basically a rope that dangles and you have two options of pull ropes. My pup loves to play with it but gets bored after a 2 mins because it does nothing but hangs. If it actually had some good spring to it where the pup could actually engage to something challenging it would be perfect.

My pup is obsessed with tugging and would go 24/7 if I allowed him. We got tired of having to hold one end so he can tug from the other end. I decided to look up and see how he can enjoy tugging without needing a human to hold on forever. This seemed like a good quality items for him as he is a excessive chewer and strong with pulling. When I got the package, the materials were most definitely good quality and sturdy enough for my pup. I choose this because it offers spring part where it helps lessen the stress or damage on his teeth/neck as well as the rope has not wear out yet. I have it tied around a brick post in my back yard and it is still there!

The rope was too then . The rest of the product is durable but the rope split/ was bitten in two in 30 min.

Decent product however the spring is not as strong as i hoped for it to me. My dog is an American bulldog boxer pitbull cross. He loves the toy and certainly does save my arms when training with him. The carabiner clips could be better as well.
