What they say! Cut a hole, turn the screws, ears rotate to grab wall, instant outlet box!
Really well designed unit. I found everything in the other 5 star reviews to be true. Really no reason to buy any other box. The ears work great, spin out and then screw down and tighten against the wall panel. Definite 5 star product.

EXPENSIVE BUT WORKED OK
Easy to use but a little bit pricey.

Super Easy to Install!
I'm a huge fan of these boxes, especially if you are adding switches or outlets in a place where there was no original box attached to studs. It is so simple to install - I use a pencil to draw the outline of the box on the drywall, use a drywall saw to cut out the hole, put the box in, and once in place, turn the screws which rotate the "ears" that will keep the box in place. I have used these several times and they are tight to the wall and very secure. I also prefer the plastic boxes over the metal ones for safety reasons. These are great "add-on" electrical boxes.

Fantastic Outlet box for Drywall Install
I intentionally sought out the Carlon B114R-UPC switch/outlet box because the new grey boxes sold at Lowe's and other stores aren't as good as this blue box. This box is tried and true, and those grey boxes can be hit or miss. Anyway, what I like best out this box is that whether you have a stud nearby or not, this thing connects so quickly and securely to your drywall by anchoring down with the two "wings" that flip up when tightening. Makes wiring electrical for a new outlet so versatile and simple. Highly recommend this box to anyone looking for an old faithful box design and box maker. Can't go wrong here and highly recommend it.

Great value and perfect for adding a new outlet
These work great for installing a new outlet. I used these for installing new network outlets in my home office and workshop. These work well for adding new outlets to pre-existing sheet-rocked walls. If you have exposed framing, use an outlet box designed to be attached to the existing frame. But if your frame is already dry-walled, these are the outlet boxes you want to get. Will definitely buy again if needed.
