IS THIS ONE BOOTIE OR A SET OF TWO?

Hello! It is a pair. They both have removable cold packs that specifically fit both the top of the foot and the bottom, which is nice because you may only want coolness one part of the foot and not the other. But they feel so nice if your whole foot is in need of relief. After using, I keep both booties with the cool packs still in them (ready to slip on the next time) and put in a gallon size zip lock storage bag before placing them in the fridge or freezer. If you put in the freezer you may find them too cold to leave on your feet very long. Or just wait a few minutes and use them. You will love them. Great help especially for tired aching feet or hot burning feet from neuropathy issues. Enjoy! You won't be disappointed how great they feel.

What size should I buy for women's eight and a half shoes?

Here is our sizing for reference: SIZING: Small/Medium fits Women's shoe sizes 7 to 10.5 & Men's shoe sizes 5 to 9. One pair. I am trying to decide between these or NatraCure hot and cold socks - Does anyone have advice on which?

AmazonKathy,Thanks for your question! The Hot/Cold socks are designed more specifically to aid in plantar fasciitis and other arch related issues. The cold therapy socks are designed for general cold therapy to the foot. Also, the cold therapy socks feature a half-size gel pack that can be placed either behind the heel or on top of the toes. The hot/cold socks DO NOT have this option, but they do offer mild compression to the arch area. I wold like to wear these to bed to cool my feet.  As they warm up, do they leak all over the place?

The ice packs don't leak at all.  However they only stay cold about 15-30 min so they won't cool you for an extended timeframe.
