I love this scent. Very calming. Not super flowery. Almost has a little peppery smell.

We've already ordered a second bottle! I had heard what an amazingly versatile oil Lavender was, but until you start using it, you really don't believe it. After an intense hiking trip through rough terrain, my family of four was pretty scratched up so I pulled out the Lavendar to soothe & heal -- we all avoided infections, pain diminished immediately, healing was accelerated and with minimal (if any) scarring. After hearing it could be used as a sunscreen, this skeptical, pale-skinned Irish girl blended it with coconut oil and gave it a try prior to running a 5K. Normally, I burn in under 15 minutes, experiencing a lot of redness and irritated skin. For extended exposure, I'll get peeling and sometimes blisters as well. After my Lavendar oiled race? No redness, no burning, no irritation or itching -- just a lovely golden tan -- a TAN!! I don't ever tan! Soo impressed! Days later, my allergies were really wreaking havoc with my asthma. I remembered hearing about someone holding a drop in their mouth so I looked it up. It suggested putting 1-2 drops of Lavender under the tongue & holding it for 30 seconds, so with one drop on my finger, I held it under my tongue. It tingled slightly, but wasn't uncomfortable - it DID taste terrible - but within a few seconds, I could actively feel my upper sinuses clearing! For the next several hours, I was breathing more freely and deeply than I had in weeks! I will seriously never let myself run out of this stuff ever!!!

This is a quality essential oil. One drop goes a long way. Love the true lavender scent. Thank you.

The oil came very quickly as with other oils I have purchased from the seller. I am giving it four stars because I don't really care for it's smell. I don't know if it was my own perception of how lavender should smell that is wrong, or if it is the oil itself is wrong, but it isn't a nice gentle smelling oil like lavender should be. It is a little harsh and too strong. ***This is an update** I am recanting my previous statement of it being too strong of a smell. Firstly, I was unaware that actual lavender is not a sweet soft smell. I was wrong in my assessment of that. With that being said I used this oil while drying my bed sheets and comforter by putting it on a cloth and throwing it in the dryer with the linen. The smell was not present after the drying which made me sad at first. But when my husband and I went to bed that night we slept like ROCKS! it was wonderful how well we slept. Even the doggy slept hard! The following day I used some on my temples for a slight headache and although at first the smell was strong, it gently faded away into a nice smell and my headache left all together. I am very very very happy with this purchase and if you want lavender because of it's holistic properties, and don't mind the strength of it, BUY THIS!

Great product relative to price

I know Eden's Garden doesn't recommend using this internally on their labels for a legal reason, but after doing my research on tons of oil companies and different oils, I went with them. Their prices are reasonable and I don't have people in my face trying to sell me something constantly. I've been broke out in hives since July. They are horrible, huge, move all over my body, and make me miserable. I have other symptoms too that has my doctor checking me for autoimmune diseases, but while waiting for the test to be taken and now for the results, I decided to try one of the recipes I saw for hives. I made a mixture of equal parts lemon, peppermint, and lavender oil (all Eden's Garden), put 6 drops in a gel capsule, so I'm getting 2 drops of each, and take that morning and night. My hives have been gone for 2 full days after taking this for 5 days. I haven't gone without hives for more than 12 hours since July, that includes being on some strong medicines my doctor has prescribed for me that make me fall asleep. I will be ordering more oils from them to use externally for joint pain and for a detox bath with epson salts. I'm 39 and feel like I am completely falling apart and this is the first time I have felt hope in awhile with what has been going on. This review will be posted on Eden's Garden lemon, peppermint, and lavender oils since I use them together.
