I have not needed to adjust them. But, based on your information that your glasses tend to fall or slip off when bending over, it appears that you need to have the Temple Arms realigned. However, this is a job for a reputable optical shop whereby the arms are heated to a certain temperature and the arms are gently bent inwards as needed.
