V76 by Vaughn V Rated Natural Wax Light Hold Formula for Men, 1.7 oz

Works great (also my first non gel hair product) so I have no other waxes to compare. Holds well with minimum application. The scent is fine but I never really pay attention to that any how.

I love trying various hair products and I love this one. Keeps my hold but I’m able to adjust the style as my day progresses.

I have used this for some time, and it does seem to be unique in it's consistency, which is why I keep buying it. The couple issues I have is that it is pricey for the size, and your hair has to be in between wet and dry (dampish) for it to work. If you miss that window, it gets clumpy and doesn't look right. My wife says she likes the smell, and she is picky about scents.

Perfect product for wavy hair. It's smooth, keeps hair in place, isn't particularly greasy. Keep it in a cool dry place, so that would mean inside the medicine cabinet and it should last a yr or so.

This is a great product when you're lucky enough to get a good batch. However, the quality of the delivered product is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes you get an extremely dry, hard version of the product, as if it sat in a warehouse for 5 years before arriving at your door. Other times, you get a much thinner, lighter product that doesn't provide nearly as much hold as normal. And sometimes, you get a perfect product that is awesome and works better than any other product I've tried. I'm going to order this one last time, and if the quality is off, I'm going to stop buying it from Amazon. If the quality is still inconsistent from other sources, then I'll be looking for a new product to use.

I love this product been using it for 3 years. The best texture it won't make your hair sticky or goopy like other products. I don't use anything else.

i used to buy this product from my hair stylist/salon, they stopped carrying Vaughn so i looked to amazon because it's still my favorite hair product I've ever tried. The stuff coming from amazon has arrived twice now as "expired" it seems dry and it is cracked off from the edges of the tub. the product does not work the same as it did when it was a better consistency. not sure what to do about this.. no other product worked with my hair like this stuff did

Unless you're familiar with the scent, I'd recommend finding a cosmetics store and carries Vaughn and smelling this stuff before you buy it. I'd describe it as the odor of a bottle of drugstore "woodsy" cologne and a bottle of 15-year-old Scotch fornicating in a vat of donut icing. If that sounds like heaven to you, go for it, but I can't stand strong scents so this was a dud for me. It held my hair well, though. Has a "not really wax / not really paste / not really clay, but somewhere between all 3" texture similar to Bumble and Bumble Sumotech.

smells great and easy to apply. it has a smooth texture and washes out easily!

This is an ok product if you have short hair not really for the guy who keeps a medium to long hair look as there is not enough hold to keep the that you like. That being said if you have shorter hair between short and medium hair it does work well and the smell is not to bad. It complements the other Vaughn products that you may use. It is not over powering and it is easy to wash out and when it is in it does not leave your hair feeling heavy or uncomfortable. Overall both my husband and I do not mind it but again it is more for someone with shorter hair to just before medium length.

i had never used hair wax before, and didnt even know it existed, so I was a bit unsure what to expect. the directions on the container are pretty basic so i went online to see how to use it. i have to say i love this stuff, it is what ive been wanting in a hair styling product. ive been using a leave in conditioner to help style my hair, but it wasnt quite enough to hold some parts of it in place. gels, creme, pomade all made my hair hard or if i combed it out it wouldnt feel soft to the touch anymore. you know how when you work with machinery you have your light grease and your thick grease? the leave in conditioner is the light grease and this is the thick grease. its a thick cream in a tub, you take the tiniest amount you can and place it on problem areas, and it gives you control to hold a style in place. females tell me they love the scent, my hair remains soft, you can run your fingers through it but it stays in place, and can be put back if it falls out of place. if you use more you can probably style your hair however you want, up to mohawks or slicked back pomade look. while researching hair wax use many sites mentioned issues such as needing to play with the wax in your fingers to warm it up and reduce chunks, or being sure to wash out the wax at the end of the day so you dont get wax chunks on your pillow, i have noticed none of these or other drawbacks ive read about with this product. at $25 this is normally well outside the range of what i would pay for a grooming product but i would absolutely pay that for this product as it holds my hair how i want but keeps it soft to touch and natural looking and smelling good, also so little is required for the desired effect i expect this to last months. when this is gone i will definitely buy more.l my only complaint is that this is similar to thick grease and touching your hair will make your hand feel a bit greasy, but i havent noticed it getting on clothes or my pillow, it smells good and its a small price to pay for making your hair hold in place without becoming hard/stiff or unsoft.
