The two-handle design gets the floss around braces wires without fingers in the mouth, which makes the whole thing much easier for a kid. The handles are reusable and the tips snap on quickly. The starter pack is a good way to try it before committing.

Awesome. Easier to floss and first product to actually encourage me to floss more. You control the string tension unlike those pick tools, so it doesn’t hurt or snap in between the teeth. Then you can wrap it around a tooth side to get it really clean which I felt like the picks couldn’t do. This is much better than traditional flossing because it wastes less and you don’t have a nasty string flopping around and wrapped around your fingers till they turn red to shove it way in the back and barely get your teeth and stretch your cheek- this gumchucks fix that and you can get behind your last molar with ease and no effort. I hope they stay in business forever so this can be my lifetime way to floss.

Hard to get the hang of, but wow. I hate traditional floss because I end up drooling everywhere, the floss slips, and it's just a really long and drawn out pain to do. I dislike floss picks for similar reasons. It's hard to get them at the right angle without drooling on my hand and losing my grip sometimes, and those are really only for travel not regular use. I also have a waterpik. It's nice, but it's loud and I always wonder if I'm being thorough enough so it's also a process to use. I end up not using any of them often at all. I decided to get these and I am very sure even after just one use that this should be a standard. I can keep my hands mostly out of my mouth meaning there's minimal drool involved. While it is taking a while for me to get the hang of wrapping the floss around my tooth in my attempt to be thorough, this setup is much more comfortable than anything else i've used. The prep is simple, I dont get drool and/or water everywhere, cleanup is simple, and it's quiet. I won't say that I won't have my days where I'm lazy and skip flossing, but these are definitely the best thing I can use to floss more regularly than just once in a blue moon.

These are really helpful and a good tool compared to others like them. I'll buy it again for sure.

Don't know why more people (especially dentists) aren't aware of this wonderful little gadget. I've been using them for years. Clearly beats the heck out of trying to wrangle with string floss!! Especially great for kids. Makes it super easy to floss those teeth way in the back.

For those with dexterity issues, arthritis, or like me amputated fingers, these GumChucks are a life saver. I thought I was going to be limited to the disposable stick flossers which only get directly between the teeth, but were impossible to get around the tooth in that all Important C curve to properly clean around the gum line - until I found these little dental miracles! So easy to use and even to take on the go. Not to mention the fun aspect- they are like tiny nunchucks - bring out your dental ninja and keep the plaque away.

I love the idea of these, but they are a bit awkward in practice. Felt like I was trying to use chopsticks on my teeth. The floss ejector is cool and works well. I can see this being a good choice for braces or other dental appliances.

Easier and better than floss. Although some do break.
