Exceptional pillow
First feel of this pillow is awesome, I haven't slept on it yet but I could feel the support and weight of it right out of the box. It definitely has an earthy smell to it, which I don’t mind at all, my wife personally doesn’t like it, but I think it smells like I am out camping or something. It holds shape and supports my neck really well, and without a doubt completely outperforms my $30 target pillow I've had for some time. I ordered more filling for it but I honestly think the amount they send in the pillow is already really nice. The cotton is soft and it has complete control over thinness or thickness depending on how much you remove or add, and it looks really good in my opinion. It doesn't get too hot and I see good versatility in it for any sleep position. If you’re looking for something new id save the money on those expensive fancy pillows, the most basic natural things God put on this world are what we need!

Good quality pillow!
This is my first buckwheat pillow and after one night I noticed my neck pain was a little better. I've been struggling with tossing and turning all night because of my pain. Shoulder, neck, elbow and literally my entire upper bone structure. I started reading about this type of pillow and decided to hold off on getting a new mattress and trying this pillow first. The pillow cover is really nice, you can tell it is made well. The zipper tucks into a little pocket nicely to keep it from opening tol easily. I decided to dump out about a quarter of the buckwheat to make the pillow a little flatter. The first night was an adjustment but I fell asleep quickly and noticed when I woke up in the middle of the night my neck didn't hurt like it usually does. I think I woke up just because of the noise the pillow makes if you move. I didn't care about that and knew I would quickly get used to it. I slept the second night on the pillow again but did notice a little headache when I woke up the next morning. I decided to take out another quarter of the buckwheat to make it flatter to see if that made a difference. The next morning I felt pretty good, less pain. But I feel like once the buckwheat forms to you it feels pretty hard. But it's soooo supportive I needed to stick with it. I do also think it made me feel a little hot so I thought about what I could do to help those things and decided to buy a very flat (I think 1" thick) memory foam cooling pillow insert. It worked perfectly! Cool, comfy but still had the support. I did need to take out a good ount of the buckwheat to make up for that extra inch of foam. I do also use my silk pillowcase with it so that is cooling as well. It felt great last night and I am hoping this is the perfect combination! I don't notice much of a smell, nothing that would ever bother me. I did read that some people are bothered by it and I will say I am extremely sensitive to smells. It is heavy and I got the smaller size. I didn't like that it wasn't the size of a regular pillow but I did get used to that. I think I will be ok with the smaller size. If you have any type of cervical issues this could be the answer! I'll update soon how I am doing with it!

It's a good head rest pillow on the couch
I ordered the 11 x 16 pillow to use as a head rest on couch. It's a great pillow, and a good size to sit up above a lumbar support wedge. I like the buckwheat filling and the cotton cover, which you can take off and wash. The only issue for me is that it gets squished down too fast. So I'm trying to find out how to get some extra filling from the company, and sent them a message asking about that. It would be perfect if I can fill it out just a bit.

Fluffy pillows are a lie! Sculpt this pillow to put solid support where you need it.
By far, this pillow has given me the best sleep I've had in a while. For the first time in as long as I can remember, I woke up without neck pain. Whether you're a side sleeper or back sleeper, this is great. It's weird to get used to at first, because it sort of feels like sleeping on a rock that's specifically designed for your head and neck - but that's what is so great about it. I have hypermobile EDS, something that makes all my joints unstable, including my neck. With this pillow (I got the 20x26 size), I'm able to carve out an indent for my head (even my ear) and build up support around my neck exactly where I need it. On my side I sculpt it to prevent my chin tucking and give support to the shoulder gap, and on my back I can sculpt a curve that also prevents that chin tuck. Once you lay down, that support DOES NOT MOVE with regular sleep movement. To adjust, you just need to scrape at it with a hand gently to move it where you want, like digging in sand. So it DOES feel solid in a way that most sleepers aren't used to, but the stabilization is SO comfortable. I've even noticed that because I have such solid support, I move less in my sleep, contributing to the restfulness. If you have neck or joint pain, this is absolutely worth it. I will be purchasing more, especially to travel with. I don't think I'll be able to go back to regular pillows again.

Just as described and quality constriction.
Nicely made N’s appreciate the pillow case! I think that the coconut husk works better than this because the husks are not so slippery. Left mine at vacation rental and this was replacement.

A real game changer - best pillow ever!
I've been having a lot of issues where I have migraines and often wake up with them. I know it's been from my neck and shoulders being out of whack by the time I wake up. I've tried all kinds of pillows and my husband suggested I try a buckwheat pillow. I read through a lot of reviews and am really glad I picked the Lofe pillow. I feel they were really generous with the buckwheat hull fill. I'm still trying to find the right amount and height for my body, but there was quite a bit of hulls in my pillow. The cloth feels old school and natural, and they have a little hideaway for the zipper pull so that it doesn't bother your head. I put a few pillowcases around it, as I read that you don't want to let the hulls get moist at all. It does have a particular smell, but I don't feel like the smell is chemical or unbearable. It's a pleasant, earthy odor, and I don't mind it whatsoever. I got the small travel size, as I realized most of the pillows I've been sleeping on have been 14x20 or smaller. We are in a smaller sized bed and this size was PLENTY for me. I am not sure why so many need a bigger size, but I guess sleep is very personal and everyone just has to do what is right for them. I sleep almost exclusively on my side, and buckwheat is good for side sleepers and I don't feel like I need any more than that length or width, as my main concern is rolling it up and supporting my neck well from the side. I added a photo of my Lofe buckwheat pillow which is 14x20 next to my husband's queen/standard sized pillows (he sleeps with 2 of them in 1 pillow case - which are 20x26 each), just to give a comparison. I haven't tried a queen sized buckwheat pillow but that may be too much for me. Sleeping on this pillow has given me the best nights of sleep I've ever had. I barely dream or remember my dreams. I usually wake up throughout the night and my husband has complained about me snoring. He said I don't snore at all since I've used the Lofe buckwheat pillow. I usually need white noise to get through the night and if something happens and the white noise shuts off, I definitely wake up from the sudden silence. But I don't while sleeping on the Lofe buckwheat pillow. I woke up and my white noise was off, but I slept right through that. I think my waking up (from pain) went down from around 20 times a night to maybe 2 and it was just because I had to go to the bathroom or had to turn to the other side. I've added lavender bud to my pillow today to enhance my good night's sleep. I'll update this review as time passes. I'm very excited about this pillow! It's such a game changer and I feel I'll be a lot more productive with my life, after catching up on much needed sleep. I've used it as a back support bolster while sitting up in bed as well and it feels SO comfortable and supportive. I love it as both, but might invest in a separate buckwheat pillow for my back. Customer support is *excellent* and so responsive if you need anything.

Best sleep, no pain, no toxins, and a refreshed you.
You should get this pillow if you want to prevent spine issues. I waited till I had back pain to get the right support. This pillow is organic so there are no toxins to cause cancer or other respiratory issues. These pillows give you the peace of mind that you won't wake up in pain. I have had back and neck pain for 5 months after my injury which was severe in my neck and spine. Nothing worked, but this pillow. I wake up with no pain and no headaches. I sleep on the floor with a shikibuton. My son had neck surgery 1 year ago and uses this pillow on a traditional mattress and he is now pain free and snores less. When I go to bed I shake the pillow till the hulls are even then after putting my head on it I adjust the pillow around my shoulders and neck. At first it feels hard and then you don't notice anything. Your body just feels comfortable. This pillow was shipped and I got it in one day and I live very rural. It came in excellent packaging and had a smell of fresh baked bread. It is buckwheat so it has that fresh aroma that is earthly and relaxing. The new smell leaves within a few hours of opening. I also purchased grounding sheets which I strongly recommend no matter how crazy or absurd they may seem. They work as well as the pillow. The pillow case this pillow comes with is perfect. Its very obvious it is organic cotton. The pillow case feels amazing. I was pleased with how much buckwheat fill was in this pillow. It is very full and an excellent amount. Throw away you memory foam, cotton, old pillow and get this. I recommend the larger size. Its just honestly worth it. You will be glad when you wake up not tired and not in pain and you didnt breath on toxic particles all night.

Really helps with my cervicogenic migraines
Really happy with this pillow. The case is nice, soft and breathable and the ability to adjust the amount of fill easily via the inner zippered case is nice. Doesn't heat up too much during the night, and the hulls stay where I lump them up which is crucial for supporting my neck and head to help ward off cervicogenic migraines and my cervical rediculopathy pain.

Comfortable pillow and excellent customer service.
The pillow is comfortable to sleep on and is adjustable as you can reduce the amount of fill yourself. The pillow comes with care instructions and an offer to send for a free pillow case which I did. The seller was very responsive and prompt in sending the free case upon request. Customer service and communication is excellent. Highly recommended.
