Effective sunscreen.
We always take a reef-safe sunscreen with us on vacation out of respect to the environment. I feel that it’s a small action we can take to do “our part”. This one did keep us from getting burnt, but it was pretty thick.

Not reef safe at all.
Contains Avobenzone, Homosalate, and Octocrylene, all of which are known to break down into byproducts that are directly toxic to reef marine life. This product is extremely misleading.

Feels like regular sunscreen, but it's safe for use in vulnerable environments
The last reef-safe sunscreen I bought left me looking like an extra from Casper the Friendly Ghost. It left a white cast on my skin, as well as everything I touched during my Hawaii trip. The Coral Isles sunscreen is easy to rub in and doesn't leave a mark on your skin. It did the job and stayed on over several hours of snorkeling, swimming, and sweating. No complaints!
