Pancreatic Enzyme Formula, 180 Capsules

My doctor wanted to put me on Creon, which is $4000 a month. I did a little research and found this product. It contains the exact same enzymes that Creon does, just in a smaller dose. Saved me about $3900 a month. Excellent product.

Where have these been all my life? Ive taken enzymes before but obviously nothing of this quality. Most Stomach issues resolved with first use. Pricey but worth the money. Worked so well I also purchased the digestive enzymes ultra to cover more bases. I picked these and the ultra specifically because they did not have bromelain or papain which give me issues.

Good product I use it all the time. It doesn’t upset my stomach. If you’re gonna take vitamin C, this would be the one to take.

Update: VITAL doesn't work as well as PURE. It might be because PURE capsules have a coating that's resistant to stomach acid, so it doesn't start breaking down until it gets into the intestines. Because of my Pancreatic Exocrine Insufficiency, the PURE enzymes were "pretty much" helping me with my digestive issues, but not enough. I googled, and AI said I should have prescription-strength enzymes like Creon and Zenpep. My doctor called in a prescription for each, but before they arrived at the pharmacy, I looked up the amounts of the three pancreatic enzymes in each brand. It turns out that PURE and VITAL from Amazon have the same amounts of enzymes as some of the Rx brands. When I started taking two capsules for each meal, these PURE pancreatic enzymes really worked for me. The VITAL pancreatic enzymes are twice the strength of the PURE, so I only need to take one of these for each meal. So, a month's worth of PURE costs $109.00. A month's worth of VITAL costs $40.00. Currently, with my Medicare insurance NOT covering pancreatic enzymes: A month's worth of CREON costs $1,243.00. A month's worth of ZENPEP costs $4,583.00. The two PURE capsules OR the one VITAL capsule are completely doing the job for me.

As the cost of my husband’s crown skyrocketed, his gastroenterologist suggested these to us. We are on our second month and are having no problems. Been getting a bottle every other week.

My mother in law has been battling chronic pancreatitis. She had to have the majority of her pancreas removed (pancreatectomy) after the last attack and has relied upon pancreatic enzymes to survive. She has been taking Creon for the past year. Its incredibly expensive (costs her about $1500/mo. even with her insurance coverage) Pretty much her entire social security check has been going straight to paying for the Creon. She recently started living with us and the transition has been a bit hectic. There was a mishap at our local pharmacy, she ran out of Creon and wasn't able to have it filled. I couldn't stand seeing her suffering in pain and not being able to eat, so I began looking on Amazon for an alternative. None of the other brands I looked at were nearly as high a dosage as Pure Encapsulations! The amount of Protease, Lipase and Amylase is nearly identical to that of her Creon medication! We had it shipped 1 day (ty Prime). She started taking it and was feeling much better on the first day. After a week of taking the Pure Encapsulations Pancreatic Enzymes, she has been able to eat and says that she can't even tell the difference between the Creon and this supplement! (so disgusted with this unregulated pharmaceutical market right now) My wife and I (and Mom especially ) are utterly impressed and grateful for this wonderful supplement! I can't even express my gratitude right now....
