I bought Nutricost Vitamin K2 MK-7 after learning more about the relationship between vitamins D and K. I already take vitamin D, and my reading made me realize that getting adequate vitamin K—particularly K2—was something I wanted to pay more attention to rather than simply taking vitamin D by itself. What I specifically wanted was the MK-7 form of vitamin K2, and these provide 100 mcg per softgel. The softgels are not too big and they are very easy to swallow, which is important when you already have other supplements in your daily routine. You also get 240 softgels, so one bottle lasts quite a while. As with most supplements, I can’t look in the mirror tomorrow and say, “Yep, my K2 is definitely working!” This is more about filling a nutritional need that I decided was important based on my own research. The price is very reasonable for the dosage, form, and number of softgels. Value for money is excellent, they’re easy to take, and the large bottle means I don’t have to constantly reorder. I noticed a scientific research study reporting benefits of taking K2 (in the form of M7 - important! I also tried M4 by mistake and it did not offer the same benefits) for nightime foot and leg cramps. I've tried everything including magnesium, increased hydration even during the night, salt, massage (I already exercise a lot) but this is the ONLY thing that has actually kept the cramps at bay until I get up. IMPORTANT TO TAKE WITH FAT (I take with olive oil.) Otherwise won't absorb properly. I take at dinner time approx 3 hrs before bed.
