I purchased a simple auto darkening mark years ago when I got my mig welder. For years I could never clearly see what I was welding. My welds suffered. I assumed it was just me. Eventually I got the idea that the rest of the world wasn't living this way. So I looked forever and settled on this mask.As soon as I got it I was struck by how comfortable it was, how big the viewing window was, and how I could actually seer what I was welding - both before the arc and after. It has these lovely padded bands too with lots of adjustment. Now I don't feel like I'm welding with my eyes closed. I love this thing.

It's comfortable

The battery compartment is loose or the wire has a short, so I constantly have to wiggle it for the auto dim to work. If that could be fixed patently i would rate it 5 Stars.

My husband production welds. He is using this for 10 hours a day 5 to 6 days a week. He LOVES it. It has a great view and gives him to ability to see in the small areas he has to put a weld in. It light weight so it easy to wear for long periods of time. He did say the strap is a little week but he still uses it. All his coworkers are wanting one now. We have purchased other helmets off amazon for way more money but they don’t even compare to this one. My husband is also issued welding helmets from the company he works for and he prefers to use this one instead. It’s definitely worth the money. It was shipped quickly and came in good packaging. This is an awesome helmet for someone to use every now and then or all the time.
