Anatomically Correct
The skelly was provided by Axis as a 'for review' item. And it's quite impressive if we don't factor 'size' which is about 3 ft. tall. But that's Okay because most bones are there which should make it good teaching material. Our daughter who helped me set it up is in fact planning to donate it to her school because she will actually be taking anatomy this year and she knows that the school couldn't afford to purchase a skeleton replica because supporting the sports teams is so much more important. Before I post her thoughts, I would like to note that, even without an assembly guide, we were able to put it all together in about 15 minutes. It's not that complicated but a one-page 'manual' would have helped. That being said, here are our daughter's thoughts of the skelly. By the way, she named it 'Friend'. I know... _____________________________________________ This human skeleton replica is really nice for someone like me who is about to study anatomy in school. The bones can be easily identified and you can even bend the arms and legs. The legs came detached but you can put them on easily. As you move the top of the leg more the string begins to loosen a little but you can fix it by doing the same method you would've used to put it on (pushing the button and pulling the string). The bones are very strong and the base is sturdy so I don't think it'd break too easily. I know that I am going to miss it but I am planning to give it to the school because being able to touch the bones will be more interesting than just watch videos and stare at drawings. _____________________________________________ I am rating it a 5 star because this is good stuff but I hope the maker attach an assembly guide.

Great for Radiography!
I bought this as a radiography student to study from, and it has been such a big help! I consider it a good investment, because although it's pricey, it helps me visualize the bones in terms of positioning. I even brought it to clinical and use it in between patients. It includes all of the bony details necessary for image evaluation. Not every joint is moveable (like the ankle, fingers, and toes) but the elbow, knee, wrist, hip, neck, and shoulder joints move great. Perfect size to pack up and move around, but not too small that you can't see anything.

Good Educational Tool
I use a skeleton for education. I purchased a similar one in 1990 that lasted 30 years. Only reason it broke down was my kids played with it. The skeletons joints were tied with metal straps pins & replaceable bolts This skeleton is tied with plastic & elastic cords sure to break. I’ll replace it metal when it happens. The stand is bulky and flimsy. Still a good educational tool though.

Durable
Good detail on item. Heavy base to help it stay put. My daughter used this to help study for A&P.

More stable than me at this point
Seems like a good stable model. Need it for a class and I guess I’ll just, have a mostly anatomically correct skeleton hanging around. Wonder if it can take my place in zoom meetings?

Skelly got a gangsta lean
I bought this for a Pilates teacher training anatomy class. The size, scale and joint movement is great! It has all the intricate bones, spine, skull etc. The only reason I'm giving it a 3 star is because it was not sturdy on its stand. My model kind of leaned to one side or another (top heavy). I tried screwing the pole to the base tighter but never quite got it to stand perfectly straight.

Anatomically Correct!
Love Billy Bob (what I named him)! It is super easy to assemble, and anatomically accurate. The skull has surprising details of sutures, and opens up for the deeper bones.
