I purchase for my granddaughter who has a very sensitive scalp. Also purchase small wet bush which she uses in the shower to brush hair while conditioning. Sometimes before school she rubs a tiny pea size of conditioner to her dry hair and makes brushing much easier.

To my knowledge, no it is not. A neutralizing shampoo could possibly work as a clarifying shampoo since it's purpose is to clean all relaxer from the hair.
