It was such a treat to finally have a second mixing now for my KitchenAid. If you know someone that uses their mixer often, this is a great gift! Well made and fit like a glove.

Gorgeous. Beaut. A perfect fit. Gonna be using this when I bake whatever I need to. Got this as an extra so I don't have to worry about potential cross contamination when baking. Durable and easy to install and that shiny steel surface is gorgeous. Lightweight without being cheap. Cannot wait to bake.

Well, I have had my KitchenAid for awhile now. My parents have three girls and I'm the only one with a knack for baking and cooking (I'm the middle child) so I was ecstatic when they got it for me from Sam's club one Christmas. It was an extravagant purchase as my parents are very frugal. It is a beast and weighs a ton! Anyway, my daughter's 7th birthday is coming up and I foolishly bought a glass one at Walmart. I began scouring Amazon for another bowl as I could really use two and stumbled across this one. It is beautiful and looks exactly like my other one. Looks can be deceiving though because as you can see--the fit is off by at least a half of an inch. I'm so disappointed as I read other reviews and even checked the description to make sure it would fit. I also made sure my bowl wasn't bent or anything and it is obvious that it isn't my mixer or old bowl. I hate to return this as I desperately need an extra one to bake my daughter's cake Friday. Back to the drawing board.

Very tight fit. The holes on the side are very tight, you have to push the bowl down to make it actually fit.

I recently upgraded to this KitchenAid 5‑quart polished stainless steel bowl (K5ASBP) and it's fantastic. I got this as a second bowl for baking cookies at Christmas. I can now save time by making more in less time. Don’t have to clean the same bowl to make a second batch. So happy!!
