Yes I am using this now as Shower chair But be careful it slips when soap is on the Butt . Some one should be next to them

What is the size of the toilet seat?

I have this portable toilet and it's very closed to a standard toilet seat. I measured my bathroom seat: 14 in wide X 15 inch long. This portable toilet is:13.5 in wide X 14.5 inch long. So as you can see just a half inch difference in width and length vs. standard seat. I have a severe bladder condition called "IC" and have to go a lot! I get worn out alone especially through the night. It is so much safer especially at night having this bedside toilet. It is literally like have my bathroom toilet in my bedroom and for my illness, it is my best friend. It is sturdy, comfortable and I feel safe with railings and love the added toilet paper holder. It is wide 24 inches & 17 inches in length. But for me it is worth the space it takes up and the bucket is large and deep with a handle for easy emptying and cleaning. A+ product!

Yes, it can be used as a shower chair. My mother transfers it back and forth from the bedroom to the bath when she takes a shower.
