Most experts agree that a mussel has a shell.  Since the company ads extol the benefits of the green lipped mussel, it is in no way shellfish free.  By the by, the FDA does not evaluate dietary supplements.  They simply told the company to stop claiming results that the product did not provide.  If you must have omega3, fish oil, there are many cheaper products that also do not provide any benefits.

Is this the praise jesus miracle pill advertised on tv? does it really work?

Yes, it does work!  It doesn't work on what it advertises. But it has kept me from having knee surgery! I have a torn meniscus in my knee, and after taking Omega XL  2 AM and 2 PM I don't have to have surgery. No pain at all of any kind. It really does work!

I don't know how many milgams but I do know you are wasting your money if you buy this. I took it for about 3 months and could not tell a bit of difference. Luckily I had a money back guarantee. Don't wast your money.

Each capsule contains (12 mg EPA) and (7 mg DHA) in a mostly free fatty acid form.
