Could I shoot flower petals out of this?

I have a homemade '' potato gun'' that I use to shoot flower petals in parades. You have to put a piece of cloth in first. It worked great shoots them 20 ft in the air. I use some colored micro fiber cloth from harbor freight and denatured alcohol for the fuel. the gun has to be warm for it to work.

How far will this send a potato piece?

I found aerosol hairspray to be best and sent it around 75 yards. Lots of fun.
